I had multiroom, HD, Sports and full variety mix on a half price deal through Best Buy.... I phoned Sky, best they would do was 25% off for 6 months, on a rolling contract now anyway so will just ring them again in 6 months and demand they offer the same or better :P

I phoned today, had enough of paying full whack - we have the full monty, sports, movies, HD, multiroom, plus broadband and telephone etc - got half price on the TV package (£52 becomes £26), plus half priceline rental (same number, they do the change) - so £6 instead of £12. Still paying full whack for the HD and multiroom, but I guess they don't give discounts for those.

    All for 6 months, so (26+6)=32 x 6 = £192.

Not bad for a phone call, plus in 6 months it will be January and they'll be begging customers to stay. I hope...

VERY RARELY! - we've just transfered to sky - only when they had notification from Sky did they offer any reasonable reductions - by then it was too late in our mind!

Cancel HD & with a couple of months they'll call & offer you £100 credit on your bill if you sign up for 12mths - they called us last week, so now we have half price Sky world for 6mths & HD with £100 bill credit :j

Hi I rang to cancel and was offered half price full package (which i already subscribed to), and she threw in the HD too. I also had broadband free for the first 3 months (was with virgin) and also had half price line rental for 3 months, its cheaper than Virgin anyway, so I feel I had a bargain. I also have 2 multirooms and she offered the whole package, for £46 per month which isnt bad as the multiroom alone was £20 per month and HD £10 so I am happy . Think it is just luck of the draw who you get though, but this was last sunday afternoon, hth
