Well my sister tried on the birdesmaid dress today, it fits...technically...but she's like me - quite blessed up top (or cursed, depending on how you look at it) as most clothes aren't made for a bigger bust. I'm debating getting something made to measure from China, but I'm scared it's going to be made poorly...if I pay by paypal & the goods aren't up to scratch, will I be refunded?

Spoony - Can we see a piccy of your rings please? *Nosey alert* lol, glad you're feeling a bit better now.

Pern, I haven't got a pic of the rings atm, they're being made so once we've got them I'll take a photo and post it :) Oh and I'm back in tip-top shape now thanks :)

I think with regards to dresses and China, I'd presume you'd get a refund as if they're not what you asked for then you're entitled to it. I know some people have complained, sent them back and the dresses have been altered free of charge.

Welcome to the thread and congrats on finally going public - it's a scary thing to do, especially when families start "suggesting" their ideas.

I've contacted a few more caterers for our afternoon tea afternoon meal... hoping to get a decent quote - only want sandwiches... and we've been quoted up to £20 a head so far!!!!! Horrendous!

Anyway, this lady seems quite nice, and her prices online look ok! We'll just have to see I suppose!

We really need to start sorting our invites don't we?

  • I've booked the accommodation for the night before the wedding, I've found a lovely hotel who says that we can check out of the rooms at 1pm and wait in the guest lounge until we need to leave!

This time they even asked for a deposit and when I checked to see what rooms were available this morning, they'd already reserved them for us! :j

I'm a tiny bit excited now as I know where I'll be getting dressed and I've even been having some wedding-related dreams! Ahh, if only work wasn't so manic and then I could be properly excited! :)

Oh and Ellie, we haven't finished our invites yet but hopefully when I have time off over Christmas I'll sort them and then post them in January :)
