We were thinking Feb as well, only we need to give people plenty of time to book the hotel so I think that those invited to the evening do may get email 'Save the Dates' to warn them that they need to book early to get a room.
ATOL came back to me about TopDrawerHolidays and said they were licensed to sell packages from other companies so they would be ATOL protected but if there were any extra flights/hotel rooms etc. on top then we wouldn't be covered. I'm more at ease now and the guy at TopDrawer seems really helpful but I'm still going to ask for more info before I let them have any money!

Feb it is then I am trying to design our invites/save the dates now but can't get what I have in my head on the screen, grr!

Might have to forget the design it myself idea & use vistaprint...

Good Morning June 2012 ladies.

I am soooooo excited - it all finally seems so real as I finally ordered my wedding dress on Saturday and I am totally in love with it (as I should be). Just gotta sit and wait until Januray now when it finally arrives as it is being made in the US and shipped over.

Becca - we are officially dress twins now and I couldn't be any happier with my choice!

Hope everyone elses plans are coming together. Next on my list of things to do is to order the invitations next month - apparently we order in Septemebr, see proofs in Decemebr and receive them to send out in Jan/feb. All seems to be ticking over nicely here so hope everyone else is doing ok??

Good news on your invites too. Think we are going to order ours in Oct half term.

Today I have designed my placecards (photo on other thread) and brought some card for a few bits. Just going to buy a printer tomorrow then can get on with a few other bits.

Hi becca - I saw your placecards on another thread and they look great - you are also having a similar theme to ours (vintgae) but we are having very neutral colours like champagne, latte etc.

How is everyone else getting on? Seems a bit quiet on this thread lately?

Hi ladies,

Please can I join you? We are getting married on 16th June 2012! All we have booked so far is the church and the venue, I am currently trying to negotiate with a marquee company as we have to sort all the bits and pieces including catering ourselves, which is a pain but at least we can pick and choose what we want!

What are you doing with your train for the evening? I was thinking about a loop around my wrist but we're having a ceilidh so I think I'll struggle to dance easily and a friend at work had mentioned bustles. I've been looking at photos all evening and think I'm going to have a bustle - what are you all going to do?
