Am I the only one getting married that day who doesn't work in a school?:)
Although, now my youngest is about to start school, I am thinking about becoming a teaching assistant!2nd June 2012

Bit of a prob, went to town today to check against the material for the waistcoats and may have to change the bridesmaid colour!
TBH I've had enough 2day, my dress doesn't fit since my doctor changed my tablets, then the materials didn't match, bus fares went up so I nearly had to walk home with all my shopping and to top it off I've forgotten half the veg for the dinner tomorrow, which wouldn't have been a problem but my sister's borrowing the sewing machine for a month and I got 2 pirate costumes to make for a couple of weeks time! :0(
And breathe......
Sorry guys, got to keep reminding myself I do have 10 months to sort it out!2nd June 2012

Hi ladies! I haven't posted since my initial date post (23rd June woo!) but today I bought my dress! Not only that but it was pretty much my ideal dress and it was on sale for only 295 euros! AND I got my one and only bridesmaid sorted for 75euro! Woooo! Now for the hard part of not telling the HTB all about it (like I usually do!)0

kaz xx hope things get better.
2nd June is going to be very popular with everybody, I had an email back from a car company saying they are being bombarded with requests for that day - very popular in the wedding world due to double bank holiday.
Congrats on getting your dress cathy - what is it?
Congrats wild - will add you to list xFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
I'm not sure of the designer or name but it's ivory with dark red embroidery around the bottom and throughout the body. It has a fantastic train with more red detailing on it and it's just so me
I LOVE red and like having things that wee bit different so it's perfect
bridesmaid dress is the same shade of red
So chuffed!
Everyone else was scaring me by being so much more organised than me so I feel like I've caught up a little bit hehe0 -
How lovely - that's so nice!

My eldest will be 17 and she's really good with children, and step son will be 19 and would be willing to hold party games etc with them!
Eek ok forget the bouncy castle/magician idea. To be honest I think if you can set up a DVD (choose carefully, you need something middle of the road to appeal to both the youngest & some of the eldest, so something like Toy Story 3 or Despicable Me might be good! Not too babyish but not too adult either) & make up some DIY activity packs that would be great but still on a budget, I can't think of much else you can do without basically having your kids babysit them non stop instead of enjoying the day with you!DanielleNic87 wrote: »I'm not sure how much more i can take of this wedding planning. If one more thing happens, im sodding off to Vegas to get married :rotfl::rotfl:
One of the bridesmaids has said that she "thinks it would be easier if she is not bridesmaid". What does that exactly mean, she doesnt want to be my bridesmaid? She was the one making if difficult as she wanted her dress made.
OH has so laid back it is not bothering him, where as i have been close to tears for the last couple of days.
So that just leaves my sister as bridesmaid.
Sorry mini rant over.
On another note, we received the vows to chose from a Weds, eeek not long now. xx
What's the trouble with the dress & is she a plus size? Maybe it's nothing to do with you but she's just feeling really self conscious all of a sudden & would much rather attend as a guest, rather then be put in a dress of your choosing with a lot more eyes on her.
Edited to add the reason I ask if she's a plus size is because 1 of my sister's is & was really hesitant about being a bridesmaid because of it, took a few months of reassurance that she will get a say in the dress for her to say yes!:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57
