June 8th 2012 booked registrar had the venue but now we have changed our minds as want the ceremony in the same place as the reception. Got the wedding rings decided on colour scheme and favours and table decorations there so much to do my head feels like it’s going to burst with ideas I just can’t wait. Plus we are on a very limited budget as in tiny tiny but we only want a small wedding.0

Congrats jojo,
The more time I spend on here, the more it seems I've got to do!
Hadn't even thought about how much buffet would cost until I found another thread, wish I'd put it off for another year now!
Still doing too much ourselves, but have run out of people to delegate to! ;0P lol2nd June 2012

Ok, quick update:-
Got material for all three dresses and interfacing for waistcoats = £10.50 Plus there's enough material left over to make the cravats!!! :T
Bought my ring today, H2B chose cos I couldn't make up my mind :rotfl: titanium (cos my fingers eat gold!) and gold plated with one diamond on the front = £13.49
My daughter wanted a tiara as her bridesmaid gift and got that today as well, will match her dress and only cost £4
Also my tiara arrived and matches everything!
Feeling more in control again this afternoon, but still need to think about food and the vicar has given us a website to pick readings and hymns from, so got to pick some people to read (prob 2) wondering if they could read a poem instead??? May email the vicar on Mon!
And yes, I'm getting a bit ahead of myself but I've got lots to make and anything thats a quick fix can be done while I'm not making invites, oh and ordered save the date cards today as people may be thinking about that extra long bank hol for a break, = £6.70 Meant to go with the free ones but nothing grabbed me oops
Just got to go and find the material for the waistcoats next week, so it matches either my dress (latte) or bridesmaids!
Hope ur all doing well? xx

Woohoo becca! :j Did all your bridesmaids agree on the dress? If so, I'm very jealous that you managed to find a dress that everyone liked, but well done nonetheless!xxjojo1986xx wrote: »June 8th 2012 booked registrar had the venue but now we have changed our minds as want the ceremony in the same place as the reception. And how much info did you give, I was thinking
Save the date
Names
Date
and that's it, or do I need something else! (some of theirs have wedding, and city etc.)
We put names, date, venue and something about asking if people want to come to vegas with us for the start of the honeymoon
Nice going everyone, seems like you are all working very hard!0 -

I wish I'd have just done that, my sister would be wearing the same as everyone else!
I wish they'd just realise that it's our day, not theirs! Pah, bridesmaids...❤Planned our wedding, still planning lessons❤

Wow - people have been really busy!
Becca, those dresses are lovely. Hope you found them cheaper than the price I found them for though!
Hi Jojo - congrats on setting a dateIf you've only got a limited budget I'd suggest putting everything down in a spreadsheet as costs soon start to run away - think Becca has one?
Costcutter, that's fantastic news about the ring! My OH wants a titanium one and had seen one with a carbon fibre inlay for less than £40 but the more he looked the more expensive the ones he was looking at got. He's now decided that he wants a mokume gane style one which are hundreds of pounds
I've been lucky with my bridesmaids. I sent them pictures of two dresses to choose from and they decided on the one I liked the best so all's good.Getting married: 21/06/12!Current weight loss: 2st!!!0 -
