Our florist advised us most flowers will be OK as they are generally forced grown.
We are having gerberas, roses, carnations I thinkFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Oooh just spoke to the venue! Sounds like we found a right little gem! she was most helpful and we are going to have a look around soon! :j
We pay £250 for hire of the function room, then pay per head for the buffet and we are going to either wack £200 beind the bar or ive people raffle tickets to get a free drink each, does that sound ok?
We are going for a rather informal do, so do we still have to do all the speeches and first dance? that bit scares the jeepers out of me!0 -

Raffle sounds fun, hehe
As for the above, do whatever you two of you want. If there's something you really don't want to do, why should you?! We are considering doing a first song on Rock Band instead of a first dance0 -
Hi all,
Just a little update I have now brought the wedding rings and the honeymoon is almost booked, although we arent sure whether we would get a better deal closer to the time.
Any thoughts?Engaged 31/12/2010 Getting married on 22/06/20120 -
We are going to book ours when we think the flights are reasonably priced. I am thinking about £600 each to Florida for last 3 weeks of August. Think they will come out about October time. Where are you going?
Off bridesmaid dress shopping in Debenhams/coast/BHS at weekend. Hopefully find something!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Hope the bridesmaid shopping goes ok Becca! It's the one part of the wedding planning I am DREADING! Trying to please 4 girls is not going to be an easy task! For our honeymoon I am trying to win a competition on the Glade website - I just need the most amounts of 'votes' If you lovely lot could help, I would be SO grateful! You also get the chance to win £250! http://www.glade.co.uk/#!/aromamemory/gallery/?memoryId=am32900

Hi everyone
Hope it's ok for me to join the thread. We got engaged at the end of March this year and have booked the church and reception venue for 9th June 2012, very exciting!!
I'm love planning stuff so am hoping this is going to be a calm and unstressful process but something tells me I doubt it! All has gone well so far apart from after we'd decided on the reception venue my Dad kept hinting that we might like to look for somewhere bigger...!
We're limited to 80 people for the wedding breakfast, which suits us fine, just about do-able but Dad keeps thinking of people he'd like to invite. I'm trying to get the message across that we only really want family and close friends there with us, not everyone we've ever met! Anyway, the deposit is now paid so hopefully he'll accept we're going there and that's that!0 -
I will vote for you tonight littlemiss.
I have seen a dress that I love but waiting to get my gran's opinion before I buy. Not even thought about bridemaids yet, but not looking forward to it as they are all different ages.
Florida sounds fab Becca we are hoping to go there for our 30th birthday's. I am hoping to book a med cruise around Italy but it doesnt depart until a week after our wedding, so now we have to decide whether we want to go earlier and stay in Palma for a couple of days or do we go back to work for 3 days.
I hate making these expensive decisions on my own. OH is very indecisive. ARGHEngaged 31/12/2010 Getting married on 22/06/20120 -
Ha ha! My OH is exactly the same! The only thing he can make a decision about is food!
We were thinking of Canada for our honeymoon but not got much further than that!0
