Lovely dresses girlies. I've decided to get in on all the excitement and booked an appointment for next Friday at 12. Going to get a makeup trial done at a counter in the morning so I look the part as well! My sister's doing my makeup on the day so she gets to be dragged along

This is a very excited forum! I'm getting married on 30th June next year. Venue booked, my sisters doing the cake and a friend is doing the photographs and I know roughly which dress I like but it's a bit out of my budget... Love your discussions on here that are so similar to my tiny world of pain combined with much excitement!!

Anyone know what type of cake they're having yet? Tiered? Cup cakes? Colours etc?

I wanna see the Royal Cake and Kate's dress... It could be a trend for brides getting married this year...

I think fitted, but is that "royal wedding-ly traditional" enough as Diana's dress was very big and long...?

Hi Dulcie, nope haven't tried any dresses yet but have spent plenty of time looking at them online! Will probably book some appointments soon though : )

And eeekkk.... CANNOT wait for the Royal Wedding! I think Kate will be wearing something quite fitted, possibly fishtail? And no doubt, some amazing sparkly gigantic tiara (from the royal collection probably)

I think Kate will wear a very fitted dress but with lots of detailing.

I have bought my dress Brand new from Oxfam - £65, it is cream with a corset style back and a long train.
