We have our walking in music now that we've found an instrumental version as the lyrics are very strange. It'll make me cry and be a nice subtle hint to something that is important to our relationship but a bit cheesy.

Oh it is definitely good to know! I should have done this years ago, haha.
Music is all sorted now, the lady said we had a very "eclectic mix" lol! I hope it goes down well...Our choice of readings & vows are all accepted too, yay!
That's lovely music, I think half our guests would recognise it though!

Gemmzie - I'm glad your music is sorted, I am worried I will cry when we say our vows! We'redefinitely going to need waterproof mascara lol.


I've got a full refund for my place cards - finally, & have bought the right ones from fleabay now...hope they get it right! I feel like things are finally coming together now which is a relief

Bit of an update here.
Since last time we have realised that we get charged for 50 guests no matter how many we have, so we bumped a couple of people up from evening and have asked a couple of other people in the place of those family who declined.
Well I feel silly, they have all been SO excited and supportive. I wish we'd have invited them in the first place and not the people we did. It's made me feel a lot happier and definitely realised who our friends are

Going to see a lady about altering my dress tomorrow, so I'll get to try it on again, yay!

Have realised that the shoes I was going to wear are uncomfortable, old and horrid, so I threw them in the bin. Oh dear, I need new shoes, what a shame

We finalised our table plans and day menus today so daytime guests are all sorted. We're getting there!

I think I'll be bumping some people too (we also have to pay for 80 guests even if only 10 replied yes!) but I'm worried they may take it the wrong way & feel as if they weren't good enough to come to the whole day before, have you experienced that yet? It's totally not the case at all but I do worry


Has anyone looked into preserving their bouquet? I want too but am horrified at the prices :eek::eek::eek: Without a lottery win I don't think this is going to happen

I think most people would just be pleased for the upgrade! I've already had some people "volunteer" for upgrades hehe, and it's actually people I'd love to have there
We printed and finished our invitations at the weekend :beer: just a few extras to do and we're sorted!
I had a very bridezilla moment though re: bestwoman again, had to leave the room so I didn't shout/cry at OH. I'm trying to just let it wash over me as it's the only point on contention in the whole wedding!

Pern - They were absolutely made up and most didn't even ask anything. The ones that did were told that some of the people we were obliged to invite couldn't come, so we are inviting more of the people we actually want to invite It's true!

I'm fed up with 'family obligations' :mad: We couldn't invite all the people we wanted as day guests due to numbers and cost so we will be very happy to 'bump' the guests we wanted in the first place :j
