Did you go over the big bridge near to there its huge and you feel as though your airborne.I used to go past when I would drive down to my brother's place he lives about 60 km from Poitiers in a tiny village called Villefagnan. Its too farr for me to drive anymore but I am hoping to get to see him at some point in the summer, but I will travel down by train if I do.

npm as I say I don't know if its even sold anymore, but it worked ok for my two when they were small (circa 1967-9).It was a very old-fashioned cream that worked where others didn't.It was made up by the local chemist for me at that time. I would never reccommend anything to hurt any child.

Re the nappy rash, I used to use my grannys remedy, boil some barley up, let cool, then use the water for them to drink, on its own if they would or mixed with juice, worked a treat

    Evening everyone

another late 1 from me. Rained here all day. Have completed day 1 of no cigarettes, not been too bad but had to keep myself busy.
Took dog out walking for 2 hours in the rain. Went to see nurse re stopping smoking, got another appt in 2 weeks. Took decorations down and cleaned through. Also picked up logs and coal.

Poached egg on toast for lunch. Roast chicken dinner for tea. Have been drinking loads of cranberry juice which has stopped any cravings.

BB - hope your ds bum is better, my dd when little ended up with an infection and dr prescribed canestin cream.

Am off to bed. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care

  • grrrr we won't be going back to La Tasca again . There was an 'all you can eat for a tenner' offer on so we expected it to be busy. restaurant was half full so not too bad, but still took them 20mins to take our drinks order! we could then only order 3 items off the menu at a time. ordered our first lot, which came out no probs. had to wait 20mins again to have our 2nd order taken. 1hour 15 mins later still no food  we complained to one of the 2 waitresses who sent the manager out to us. the manager said our order had been forgotten (despite it being her who took it!!). we re-ordered, the food came out in 10 mins but had clearly been microwaved. We complained again and to be fair they did give us 50% off the bill :D but the attitude of the manager was attrocious. No apology or anything.

    Rant over

  • That was my thought exactly, MrBramble will have no excuses. Lots of time to save then Bramble, don't get lost on the weddings board now ;)
