    ds is having a crisis... he's left his beloveded monkey with his godmother, who has had him all day. he wont settle without it so alan has gone off on a monkey hunt... lets just hope he finds it :eek::o he has 4 others,, all the same but likes this particular one

    Arrived at Niort OK, just popping down for a drink to relax with before bed.

    B- Aldi Weetabix and skimmed milk on the chunnel
    L- HM Bread buns with LO pate and LO cake
    D - Lovely Chicken Salad courtesy of M who it was lovely to meet.

  • Hello :)

    late dinner tonight again as DH has just got
    back from Cumbria.

    have decided to get organised this year, so after
    DH gets paid on the 20th I will be meal planning,
    using the SC and BM a lot more, sticking to a strict
    budget for weekly food shop etc.

    I will keep you posted as to how it goes lol.

    all my jobs are done, just having a cuppa and then in the bath before bed. I hope tomorrow isn't so hectic.

    The veggie stir fry was lovely - threw a few quorn pieces in it as well. DH had a prawn one(yuk) and he really enjoyed his too.

    Its freezing here - just walked the dogs and my poor tootsies are frozen!

    Sorry to disappoint you Halight but while waiting for me to type my post DH got comfy on the bed reading the paper, and decided he fancied a coffee more than beer, so I washed up (in the wash basin to bring back memories to all those recently doing their kitchens) the things we had used for the picnic and boiled the kettle, so now ready for the morning.

    JG why on earth did you have to wait until I was away from home to say you needed a phone!!!

    Evening all! Busy day at work being verbally abused by the lovely ladies, then home to a madhouse! But got an e-mail from daughters boyfriend, was so touched, he was asking if it was ok to take her to Paris for her 21st birthday, its on valentines day, she will be sooooooo excited, and cant believe he asked us! Am madly jealous, hes getting disney tickets too........oh to be young again!!!
