He's had a bad tummy and has burn't his bum, have tried sudocream and metatium (sp?) but has not shifted so will see if i can get something on script for him.
how ols id your ds? my ds has always sufferred badly with his bottom. he has excema and gets it on his bottom and bitsthe dr prescribed a cream for him called Timodine but i fould the best thing wsa just letting the air get to it and just using cotton wool and water. pampers nappies irritate him as well so some reason. also only apply a thin layer of cream as slapping it on stop the nappy from absorbing so well and it sits on the skin

Really enjoyed watching the start of new season of NCIS last night, and not only because of Mark Harmon!
:smileyhea OOOh he is on my list. Enjoyed last night's episodeBitsy_Beans wrote: »Oh watch channel was this on? After we cancelled Sky we lost FX and the ones shown on Five are years behind
It was on Five, think it's Season 7, which is the most recent to UK I think (but may be wrong as I don't have FX). Should be able to see it on Five on Demand.Running total of £30 on musicmagpie right now, going to do CDS today and trying and get them sent before the weekend.
I need to send mine off this weekend too!

bargainbird I always found beaten egg white was a great cure for nappy rash, I learned it from my mother/gran, maybe JackieO or Marie could confirm it too? It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Morning everyone
Not had chance to read all the messages yet, as I'm supposed to be working on an essay
Anyway, esmf, glad to hear your neck's on the mend - the muscle relaxants are ace.....best not to take them too long though
Julie - I'm in the same boat as you now, as a full time stay at home mum (even though DD is nearly 9!). I have been working for the last 4 years in a school, but for the last 14months have been off sick, after being assaulted (by a parent, and then later by a colleague) and simply couldn't face going back. I had hoped that at some point I would feel ok about being back in the school, but it hasn't happened, and so just before Xmas I handed in my notice - scary stuff, but I wasn't receiving any pay as my ssp had long since run out. So, now there's no job to go back to, and serious os money saving needs to be done.....
On the plus side, its giving me time to finish my degree (on final course now, so the end is in sight) and to concentrate on my crafting - in an ideal world I'd set up my own craft stall at our local markets, but I'm still quite a way off from that. So in the meantime, using my teabags twice (like it weak), not using car (can't afford petrol, besides, cycling will help my fitness plans), and scrimping and saving.
Must say, I actually like the challenge of seeing just how little I can get by on, also got some fabulous WW11 books which are a great reference source for idea's. Once I've finished my essay, I'll try and post some
Anyway, hope everyone has a great day and I'll catch up on all your posts later

Bargainbird, my dd had same when she was a littlie, and my ancient neighbour recommended natural youghurt - it did seem to help, and I know its very cooling for sunburn - did get a bit whiffy when it warmed up though lol!Debts at their highest: £37,500

Hi
Im having a very slow day:( Im back in bed at the moment with Molly dog snuggled in to me on her blanket. Kids Dad does not approve but has not tried to move her yet so here she will stay! I have my group this afternoon and want to go so Im saving up my spoons so I can have a cuppa tea there this afternoon. My cleaner is working her magic at the moment so I will feel much better about the house. Its very frustrating and gets on top of me when it's messy:eek:
Had a very emotional time with my eldest son and his actions have impacted on his siblings very significantly. He has to sort himself out and then he has to move out and live independently. We will still support him but the time has finally come. How hard is a mother's job?
Hope all the dodgy tummies both doggy and human are getting better? I have had two nights of doggy presents form Poppy - one I slipped on NYE:eek: - as she hates the fireworks. Im hoping I dont pick up Mooloo's DGD poorly tummy as she was sick last night. Still it was lovely to spend the afternoon with them and we had a good chat x
HugsI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0
