I would imagine it would be past its best by now, its probably freezer burnt too, best thing is to defrost it and take a look? but I wouldn't expect it would be edible by nowAug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00

MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.0 -
Hi Richard
You certainly can safely use the meat again - ensure it is piping hot as already stated
You cooked it the first time, then you will be reheating it today - in my personal view that's acceptable. When i start reheating foods for the third time, my body errrr, rejects it, so I tend to stick with the twice cooked is nice rule. Just because it's been frozen in between doesn't matter.
I'll merge this with food safety later on
Leftover gammon may also give you some more ideas. I alweays freeze chicken cooked, then defrost and make into coronation chicken for example for sandwiches. YUM! :j
Also The Foods Standards Agency website is a good source of information on food hygiene and safety.
thanks

I've merged the four year old salmon thread in here - I personally wouldn't risk it

Is it the kind in a sealed bag? It is only a few days out of date, so if it looks, smells and tastes OK you should be fine. I had a bag of mozarella a few months out of date recently (got lost in the fridge) which had gone 'soggy' and sour - that went in the bin!Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0

Cut off a tiny bit and taste it - if you then have to spit it straight out in the sink, you'll know it's off!
Trust me, there is NEVER any doubt with mozzarella (ask me how I know ) - when it's off, it's off!0 -
Hi gailey,
My guess is that it will be absolutely fine. I often buy reduced mozzarella and keep it in the fridge for a couple of days before using it. As ChocClare says, try a tiny bit and see how it tastes.
I'll add this to the Quick Questions on food safety / sell by / use by dates thread later as your query may help others.
