Hi, I'm really sorry for starting a new thread when I'm sure I've seen something like this on here before
Mum is clearing out her freezer and has found a salmon - it's been in there about 4 years. Will this still be ok?
It is raw and has been sealed since they got it.
I appreciate that most freezer time suggestions can be ignored but wondered if 4 years was too long.
Thanks for looking0 -
I want to cook carbonara tonight and want to use the following...
We cooked some fresh gammon and sliced it up, this was then frozen and has now been defrosted and I want to use it in the carbonara I am cooking tonight.
Is it safe to use ? I was unsure of the cook/freeze/reheat etc etc
I shall thank any responses in advance !!Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.0 -
Make sure it's piping hot before you serve it and it should be fine in my view!0
