I would eat it but I am lucky (touch wood) and have never really had any issues no matter what I have eaten and I am one of those people who would consider seiving floor to get rid of weavels rather then throw it out. It came as a shock when I found out that cold rice might not be the best thing in the world as I use to leave it out overnight and then just eat it for breakfast after warming it through ( so not even heating it all the way through) and I never pay attention to the use by date on eggs and milk, I do the float test for eats and the smell test for milk.There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;

Good heavens, I would have no hesitation in eating these, some of the stuff in my freezer, which I eat, is well past it's use by dates, which I ignore every time if frozen
Agree about kippers in a pie, could be a bit boney
As an aside, just found some ASDA boil in bag kippers in my freezer yesterday, the original price was 58p, use by May, no idea what year but must be few ago, price now is around 90p I think [not bought any, still using the RFQS ones in freezer]
I will eat these in due courseEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -

I can't think of a single good reason (besides suffering from starvation) why anyone would want to eat a cream cheese 10 months out of date. Why would anyone even take a chance? There are cheaper/value cream cheeses available, is it really going to be money saving when you might well be stuck to the lavvy for days on end getting through lots of loo roll?Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200
