I've cooked chicken from frozen loads of times and not been ill once - I'm glad you were brave and cooked them, you'll be fine ;)

I'm that confident in cooking chicken from frozen that i've fed it to guests too (without their knowledge :D )

    Enjoy your kiev :)

I have been perusing the Store Cupbaord Challenge thread and then had a rummage through my cupboards.

I found an unopened box of risotto rice, but with the Best Before Date of 25/09/2010. Will it still be ok to use?

I have just opened the box and the rice is vacuum packed in plastic - surely that should have a shelf life of decades:rotfl:

    What do you all think?

I would use it as if it is like Basmati rice it needs to be aged before use anyway.

I'd use it! As someone pointed out on another thread, if rice found during excavations in Egyptian pyramids turned out to be edible when cooked, then living in your cupboard for a while is unlikely to have done it any harm!
