Thanks muchly. I do have a 360, so it very much falls into the above. I'm getting pretty constant temperature at present.
I have it on around 24 at the moment and it's ok to be honest.
Actually not looking forward to winter now becuase of this s**thouse of a heating system0 -

That a good site....thanks..
housing association BPHA are pulling out the NIBE units and offering tenants /owners 2 options...gas or the Mitsubishi air source heat pump.....
We had initially said to the developers it would help to dock a NIBE ASHP to the NIBE Exhaust air heat pump...which they agreed but because of NIBEs ...well lets say interesting claims and behaviour and threats to tenants the HA decided to cut any more talks with them and go via solicitors ...
It was almost like one moment NIBE has the backing of all its buddy developers the next they were left in the room alone and holding the can...the developers ran for cover .......
Cant wait for the TV prime time consumer focus programme to do its 30 minute bit on NIBE and its conduct...should make for interesting viewing... filming is finished...editing is finished...next stop to the nation...0 -
Your welcome just thought it may help to show that heat pump technology can work and as with most things there are different levels of quality of equipment, design and installation. Sounds like in the case of the Nibe systems you mention the quality is not there and it is the wrong equipment for the job, the way they are acting toward the residents is terrible and not at all constructive.0

I installed PV panels on my roof for 10K.
The Electricity provider then attended to replace ny normal consumption meter.
I don't think the two events were related.
I suggested that the fitter could switch round the meter terminals on the old (electronic) meter and then I would be kitted out with an import meter, a generation meter and an export meter !!
I got a somewhat dusty response - you would think that Niebe would at least be prepared to demonstrate that the pump would at least function as expected when recovering heat input to the system by an other suppliers proven technology.
The builders were probably just trying to comply with the "Merton Rule" at minimal cost. There are some pretty stupid solar PV and solar thermal panels going up on far from optimal roofs on social housing, that I have seen - I wonder who gets to collect the FiT ?

This amendment really sucks...Well suppose the government did not reckon on a poor product like the NIBE exhaust air units to pop there heads up...oh well ...
