I wonder if anyone has tried any 'miracle' flea killing potion for dogs. I've tried Frontline and various others, but to no avail. My boyfriend is slowly losing the plot de-fleaing and to top this off, he found one on his leg last night. It's turning us into one flew over the cuckoo's nest. We're all scratching like mad and seeing things which aren't there!!!!!!!!!
Yours stressfully,

Just be very carefull about the eyes.
I know of someone who cleared Mange with TCP. Before that, they had tried loads of different potions from the vet's, pet shop... but the only thing that did work was TCP.0 -

Dont towel dry the coat too much, let it dry on her/his skin.
If I was you, I would repeat it everyday for a couple of days.
Just think, hopefully by the weekend, you will be able to shampoo her and she will smell sweet again!!!!!! :beer:0 -
Another 'why didn't i think of that moment' . I'll do just that.
Your a star, thanks once again.

You need to wash your dog in an anti flea shampoo and then treat the animal with something like frontline.
You also need to treat your home as if you have fleas in the house, they will just go back onto the dog. You can get flea sprays for the house.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

Thanks. I have tried frontline and flea bombed the house. i also have a cat, and the frontline worked a treat on her, but for some reason the dog gets them about once a year. we even replaced the carpet in the living room to laminate last month before the dreaded flea epidemic. just dont know where they come from and have a terrible time getting rid.
When i take her the vet they just give us frontline and they come back once the course is finished.
Just trying the TCP solution and keeping everything crossed.
Thinking maybe i should just have fleas as pets too!!!!:eek:You have to know what the problem is before you can solve it

Are there any dogs nearby that she might keep catching the fleas from?
If any when you get rid of the fleas, I would probably get a flea collar to hopefully stop them coming back
