:rotfl:She obviously hasn't met my beautiful monkey-daughter who could easily remove the sleeping bag and climb out of the cot at 17 months old! :rotfl:Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

3 I think she must be a little genius getting out the sleeping bag, even my climber never climbed out the cot nor even attempted it, although he is quite short so would have struggled. He does now climb into the cot grrr and onto his top bunk from the chest of drawers instead of using the ladder double grrr.
Delain buses grrr that is all x
Aless that is a great price for a holiday, I wish I could find one for that whenever I look the dates that suit us are always really expensive but would love to go to butlins, mostly for the kids but it always looks fun.
So far so good with the structured day, lets see how tonight goes.0 -
Hi Ladies, not quite ready to be here yet, but wondered if you could help with my maternity leave pay...
Started mat leave on 4th January. So 3rd January was a bank holiday. So is the 3rd, being a bank holiday completely unpaid?
I managed to work out that usually I get paid my salary/12 each month so I normally get paid the same every month, so it looked like I got less than I thought because I'm actually getting 90% of 4 weeks for January, not for a 'months' worth.
I guess my main question is what happens to bank holidays over the year? Will I not get SMP for them?Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Giz you still accrue holidays while you are on ML so you will be entitled to how ever many days holiday when you go back (or to be paid for them if you don't go back). If your leave started on 4th then you should be paid for 3rd as you would usually.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Boys were arguing earlier. Heard James shout "if you throw another protractor at me, I'm going to stab you with a compass" :rotfl:

When she first appeared at the top of the stairs after being put in her cot I blamed my big DD for getting her out.
Then went and sat in the room to watch her do it - it was quite impressive! That's because you didn't pin the zip shut with a nappy pin.
Susan, that is a brilliant tip, sadly it's a year to late for me to use.
She's a strange little thing though, she hates having her feet covered. She's always got bare, freezing little feet. Since she was tiny and in sleep suits she'd undo the bottom two poppers to let her feet out.:beer:0 -

Afternoon! Just got back from a mini jaunt in town. Wanted to get a walker from Argos with the rest of Finn's Christmas vouchers...just got a cheapy wooden one, he doesn't seem too impressed at the moment with the walker feature, just likes dumping all the blocks out instead
. Right now he's driving me nuts by being an EXTREMELY picky eater. I seriously hope it's just a phase, as I'm getting tired of him not eating enough food
.
3, V sounds like me. I HATE having my feet covered, so even in winter I walk around barefoot. My dad used to yell at me because I'd even go outside with no shoes on in the winter...:rotfl:top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Been to boot camp first thing this morning. It was -4°C outside and everywhere was thick of hard frost. We did some running on grass but it was really bumpy and I could really feel my legs working.
Been to a supermarket and did an audit and got to pop out and mystery shop a toy shop this afternoon.
Charlotte isn't keen on socks and shoes and prefers to run around with bare feet.
Hope everyone is having a good day xxHere I go again on my own....0 -
can anyone recommend a good electric can opener?
Am fed up buying the ordinary ones as DH used it and puts it in the sink where they go rusty and cant use. I think i must buy 1 every month lol!!'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0
