    Yay for walking :j

Mine are like that every month. I have spotting for about 5-6 days and keep thinking here it is, but it seems to drag on for ages. Then it comes with a vengeance and I have about 6 hours where it just floods out, then it settles to normal for the next couple of days before finally going away.
Here I go again on my own....

Go BabyGiz. Did you have any idea it was going to happen? Lots of people keep saying to me, "Looks like she'll be walking soon", but I don't really know what signs to look out for. I'd hate to not be there at that special moment.

Good to see this thread is staying alive....

DD is walking!!! And yesterday she stood up on her own from crouching :) *proud mummy*

Am sat here stuffing my face with After Eights. I'm all depressed because I think AF is here. Body is all over the place. Been spotting for 3 days now and still not fully on. Never had this before. Usually when I see that first smidgin of pink AF is full blown in a few hours.

    *feels sick*

    *has one more After Eight*

Giz, last time I had 3 days of spotting I was pregnant lol add that to the nausea is there any chance you could be? I've totally forgotten who was ttc!

Squeak is lovely with baby Isla and she's 17 months today.

Currently she's trying to climb from a ride on toy up the bookcase.hmmm.

Nice to see you again Pigpen!

Lablover - Poppys 2nd tooth is about to come through too, last time i noticed a tiny hole in the gum and 2 days later was poking through and yesterday noticed the hole again so hoping will be through tomorrow! She has had the drolling and rosy cheeks too. A lot of people have said that the two have popped through at the same time for their babies so no reason why it wouldn't be so soon. We have had about a month between the two.

Giz - yay for LO walking, bet you are so proud!

Got cuddles with OH's new niece yesterday, 8 days old and can't believe Poppy was ever that small and delicate and OH's neice is bigger than Poppy was! Poppy wasn't very interested in her new baby cousin but was in her oldest cousin who is 4 and kept launching herself at her haha.

I guess in a way, but another persons baby looked like she was going to walk from 9 months and at 12 months she still hadn't! So you just never know.

I just put her down (standing) as normal and instead of plonking herself on her bum and crawling off, she just walked! Then fell :) And it's about 5 days now and she's come on so quick, she now sometimes walks short distances between a table and a sofa say, and yesterday she walked from her baby walker to another toy. So she's gaining confidence.
Thanks for all the congrats and reassurance ladies!!!

Sadly no, looks like I'm CD1 :( Oh well.

Wendz & Lablover - DD's first 4 teeth came through 2 at a time. The bottom 2, then the top 2. Then the next top 2 have come through about a week apart.

  • Morning all, sorry haven't posted recently just reading back.

Huge congratulations BP! :j And happy 1st Birthday small BP!

Giz - so jealous that DD is walking. OJ still isn't. He has been cruising for 4 months now and will stand on his own but no walking yet. I caught him once step between chairs at MIL's last November but since - nothing! I'm sure he won't be too long though

Teeth - OJ's come through about a week apart, we currently have number 6 trying the breakthrough.

I'm back at work next Thursday, totally feeling sick about it now, ML has gone so quick.

Sorry if I've missed anyone, was only having a quick scan back through, I'm supposed to be doing housework :rotfl:

I should really be doing housework too! Squeak is in bed, we went to the doctors this morning for the baby, and I thought we'd drop by the park on the way back, but when we got there she was asleep! Fortunately the park is near the house so not too much time wasted. I brought her home and put her to bed, just because she seems to be trying to drop both daytime sleeps and she still needs at least one or she's a mardy bum all afternoon.

I got a kindle from OH for Christmas, and I admit it does distract me from other stuff, it's why I'm not doing housework now! I'm currently reading IT by Stephen king for the second time, because I was 11 the first time and a lot of it went over my head!

Bp I forgot to say happy birthday to your ds! X

  • I also have a Kindle Delain, it's so much easier to pick up than a book IMO, I'm reading a Wallander book. One day I will go to Sweden!
I still haven't done any housework!

    Happy birthday baby BP.

LO starts settling-in at nursery next week. Just filling in all the forms they require. The child's profile one is interesting: what is her routine, what does she like/dislike to eat, when does she nap etc etc. My daughter is Miss Inconsistent, just I just put "changes daily" for everything???
