the advice I've read is to leave buying shoes until as late as possible- until they are walking outside if possible as their feet develop better without shoes on. If you need them for inside a pair of soft slippers would probably better so their feet aren't restricted much.

^^^ What she said
I think in general, babies don't really *need* shoes until they can walk and we weren't going to bother getting Joe pre-walking shoes. But he was a very prolific crawler, outdoors as well as in, and our childminder suggested we get him some to protect his feet from bumps and scrapes. We only put them on him when we were out and about, he generally just has socks on indoors (he does have some soft slippers, but they don't normally stay on for very long) You can do anything, make anything, dream anything. If you change the world, the world will change.0 -

I have really really bad acid reflux. Did any of you have this in pregnancy and how soon after baby arrived did it stop?? It is driving me insane and making me feel very low at the moment. It is always much worse when i lie down:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heart

Thank for advise! I guess Poppy won't be crawling around etc outside as its winter so will hold off. She was pulling herself up on boxes and other babies this morning at baby group haha.
Mirror - glad baby finally went!
Jenjade - can't help I'm afraid, never experienced that. Look forward to having you here soon x0 -
Jenjade -it's probably because of the bump pushing everything up and it should go when the baby arrives and the pressure inside eases.
Have you got some Gaviscon or similar? I found the liquid was more soothing than the tablets. Here I go again on my own....0 -
sorry to hear jenjade, i never got it too bad, but when i did have a little i fount the tesco chocolate milk used to help me.

i am using gavason and some other tablets but not sure if they are helping at all. I can cope knowing the end is near but started to worry it would carry on after birth and i would never be able to eat properly again!! scary thought!:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heart

jen I get acid reflux still and Bob is a year old - doc has now prescribed me lansoprazole to reduce acid production and it works brilliantly. Hope yours is just pregnancy related but if it doesnt clear up make sure you speak to the doc about it. The thing with indigestion relief over the counter meds is as soon as you eat or drink you need to take it again but its really common at the end of pregnancy so hopefully its just that.0

I had it but controlled with tablets and milk. I think babycenter has advice on what to avoid to help. It was certainly gone after labour and I think it might have gone a few days before that as well.
