    Morning

Still full of cold here :(

I seem to remember all of mine went through a phase of sleeping on their tummies. I can remember James did as he used to be chest down with his knees tucked up under him and his bum stuck in the air! Charlotte went through a flat on her tummy phase. It's one of those things where you have to balance up the risk of SIDs along with the emotional wellbeing of the baby. If they are happier sleeping on their tummy and sleeping better, which means you are sleeping better, then I felt it was a good risk to take. It's one of those things where there is no right or wrong answer, and you just have to do what you feel is comfortable for you and your baby.

Off to work this morning with a couple of jobs to do.

Have a good day all xx
Here I go again on my own....

    Morning

Hope you're feeling a bit better today Becles.

Glad to hear your LO is sleeping better Doglover. Joe was OK on his back, but since he learned to roll over he usually sleeps on his tummy now. I do as well, to be honest. I guess some people are just more comfortable that way.

Those poor cats, wendz :rotfl: Ours is similarly traumatised, though we're trying to get him to come near Joe more. Partly so he gets used to the fact that he's safe and we won't let Joe grab at him, and partly so that Joe won't see it as a big deal when the cat is in reach.

We went round a friends house last night for a little firework party. Joe was not impressed at all :( Though this is possibly down to the Dads deciding to start off with the biggest, loudest fireworks they had  We watched through the window from the safety of the house instead. Poor Joe got upset when we went outside to go home too, I think he thought there were going to be more fireworks going off :( He calmed down fairly quickly, but I do hope we've not gone and made him scared of being outside in the dark.

Just seen that M&S have 25% off all their baby clothes today only.

Anyone know how their sizes come up? Joe's warm coat is a Next 12-18m but I don't think it'll last him the whole of this winter. Just wondering whether to order him one from M&S in 18-24m to have on standby.

BigBird I used to love fireworks but I spent the whole week cursing them! LO didn't even notice them!

PP I have got one of those sensor pad monitors which does help by I'm still a wreck!

Beccles I hope you're feeling better today.

My Dad was encoraging her to stroke them nicely but don't think she quite understands that hehe.

Aww poor Joe, hope it didn't scare him too much. Hopefully he will just forget it.

I find m and s quite generous in size but Poppy is quite small.

    Feeling a bit better thanks.

Finished the big project I was doing for work, and haven't got much on this week so I can stay home and crack on with some typing I've got to do.

How cold was it this morning?! Got up at 7am and my thermometer said it was -1.5°c outside. Had a thick frost and then the sun came up, so it looked pretty glistening on the bushes and grass on the way to school. Charlotte loved that

For anyone in the Derbyshire area, we have 2 tandem pushchairs that we are looking to sell.

One is an orange Phil & Teds Explorer including carrycot - good condition with one small tear
The other is a Graco one with footmuffs and rain cover.

For more details, please PM me.
