thanks mirror, the problem I have is that OH might not be home in time, so I need to think in case that no one can run back home for me. So I'm trying to think of every eventuality. Hopefully wont need 0-3 then!! Think I've pretty much sorted it now, after taking things in and out 3 times!!! Atleast it shuts now!0

Morning all
I would take breast pads just in case, I didnt need them with my middle one but needed them before I even went to hospital with the first and the milk came in really quickly after having Bob too - I wasnt expecting it and completely ruined my favourite breastfeeding nightie so OH had to take that one home and wash it.
Gonna make OH some tea and toast, he got in at 6am from work but has an interview at 12 for a permenant job so gotta wake him up in a minute, then wake Bob up and take him for his yearly check.0 -
Hope the yearly check goes ok.
Poppy is 6 months old today, has gone so fast! We think she may be allergic/intolerant to dairy. She reacted to baby porridge with milk in the ingredients so hv said try her on yoghurt. Tried that this morning and she came out in rash again, was sneezing loads and coughing and then threw up all over me. She is fine now but made an appointment to get her tested.0 -
He did well, ticked all her boxes so she was really impressed and said especially as he was born at 36 weeks, he has caught up to where he should be by a year so even though he isnt doing loads that others are its fine. She wasnt worried about his lack of babbling either because he understands some words and recognises his name and does copy sounds she said its probably just he doesnt need to speak with the older ones doing things for him as well. He is 77cm which is on the 75th centile and weighs 24lbs 14 which is just above the 91st so he has gained loads of weight but grown alot taller too and its no surprise I'm shopping for 18-24 month sleepsuits later.
ah wendz at least you have found out what it is quickly, hopefully she'll grow out of it when she is older x
Halloween disco tonight and I'm currently meant to be fashioning some kind of black cat costume but I really can not be bothered, blooming schools.0 -
how long do poster paints take to dry? I've got 2-3 hours before the disco and just painted some black triangles for the cat ears, tail sorted and black leggings and black top just need to find the face paints and fingers crossed DS skeleton costume still fits him.0
-
That's good news, sounds like he is doing great.
Not sure about the poster paints but would have thought they would be dry in two hours ish.0 -
Was a bit wet in places when I stuck them on the hairband but dry now, I had a top for her to wear, one that doesnt fit me properly but she doesnt have a black top it was a bit big but not too bad so we put her longsleeved white one underneath and she is a black and white cat instead.
Skeletons all ready too and still fits just. Gonna skip it next year because DS will be the early disco and DD the later one so no more costumes to worry about till the year after.0 -
Sounds like you made great costumes MERFE
Stayed at home today as I had a man coming out to put new tyres on my car.
Made a nice change being home alone and I enjoyed pottering about and got loads done :cool:Here I go again on my own....0 -
Becles, Did you have Raynauds before the kids? I was always like Bigbird, poor circulation and such like and then in Jan post-Tigger, I had my first Raynauds symptom when just my little finger went completely white and from then it gradually got worse. I now get the blue/white symptoms in all the fingers and toes like the people in the images when you google it)
I've always wondered if it was another little 'gift' women end up with post pregnancy or if it was one of those things you just get...0
