morning all
DH got up with L this morning, under sufferance! When i got up L was still in his sleepsuit though lol.
L is napping now, as is DH and I am catching up with casualty from the sky box. Later we're going to the inlaws for lunch and then to sir m's to see master t on his birthday. L couldn't miss out on his best friend's special day! I will try and post a pic of them both later if sir m doesn't mind
Hope you have a lovely day out becles.
Make it 3, separation anxiety is hard, sir m's t had a phase where he really had it bad, but it does improve. L is worse if he sees me/dh after not seeing us for a while and then we leave the room again!
In the interests of raising a bit of cash and clearing out i've listed a few of my clothes on another forum i'm on...have sold a couple of bits already. Might also list some nappies as we have more than we need, some we never use!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Squeak is still in her sleepsuit.. in fact some days I dont even dress her.. though given the mess she makes eating breakfast that isnt very often any more!
She is playing with her favourite toy... a bath sponge!!! Why do we buy all this plastic junk when all they are interested in is boxes, sponges and wooden spoons?
She has mastered going up the stairs in a flash so today we have to teach her to come back down.. I cant sit on the stairs like I normally would so it should be interesting!
Im in the midst of listing loads of winter stuff on ebay so hopefully Ill have rid of at leat 1 crate of stuff in the next week! Im not sue if I dare list anything else after this lot though it is getting a bit close to the baby arriving and it might make posting difficult if I am up to my ears in baby stuff and we have a later payer or something... Ill see.. I want two of the 11kg 1600rpm washing machines when they are released in October.. so I NEED to get the money found... the 2 machines I have can be rehomed in minutes.. DD1 wants one and DD1 wants one.. so they are gone fast.
School in 10 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything named and ready to go.. need to put PE kits in bags and buy shoes at some point but other than that we are sortedLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

My typing seems just to have gone to pot
I'll re read things before posting and have to correct about 5 typos some posts  and that's just not like me.
They are similar sizes but still worth a lookMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Happy birthday Sir M's T. Hope you had a lovely day celebrating.
We stayed in our PJ's and LO in her sleepsuit all day today. She was clean enough after breakfast, as it was scrambled eggs and toast this morning. Lunch got a bit messier and then for tea it was melon and blackberries. Don't know how the stains got underneath the bib, but sleepsuit was a real mess afterwards.
So what is the best thing to help with separation anxiety, is it to give in and carry them everywhere with you, give extra reassurance, or is it tough love, let them cry and try to teach them early on that you're not gone forever???We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
I dont carry mine about.. I go back frequently at first so they know I will be back.. and after a few days I talk to them loudly giving them a running commentary about what I am doing.. so they start to realise when I will be back.. and I tell them when I am coming back and can you see me?.... where am I??? ... Here I am... the crying usually stops instantly when I am back.. though I have leg hugging!
I am soaking the sleepsuits and vests in bleach.. the napisan doesnt work any more!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
don't suppose you have a boys 12-18 dressing gown in that lot do you pigpen? fancy one for L as this flat gets cold in winter and think he might wear it in the mornings (probably not lol).
we had a lovely day, L was in bed at 6.15 as he didn't sleep this aft and was exhausted! Hoping that doesn't mean s super early wake up call.
and i have a sore throatnot likely to get any sympathy here though!
it's funny I always dress L now. even when he was little I'd change him after breakfast from his night time sleep suit to a different one. lol. guess it's just become part of our morning routine!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
No sorry.. I have Squeak in a cardy over her sleepsuit.. she will not sleep in a sleeping bag now and she wont keep covers on.. and it has the added benefit of keeping her warm while she eats breakfast.
She went to bed early as well after only having a short nap.. OH took her to the park and she went to sleep while he fed the ducks lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
lol I guessed not pigpen. L was asleep at 6.15pm but slept til 6.45 which is really good at the moment. I then had to deal with the worst nappy this morning, yuk. Yes a cardi would probably just do the job!
Hope everyone has a nice bank hol. we are going to some friends around the corner for a bbq later, i've made a pudding to take with us.
I think we are done with breastfeedingL has only had a morning feed for about a month now and the last few days just bites me
I really wanted to get to a year but i don't think we will at this rate. He doesn't want it enough for any anti biting thing to work!
