    Just found us on p4!!!

becles - where do you find the typing work? I'm trying to work out whether I can make a go of the self employed stuff rather than look for a job. I've got until the start of Nov to prove to DH that I can!!!

Hope everyone is ok. Met sir m for a cuppa at lunchtime, it's so sweet how our boys get excited when they see each other! I will forever be thankful to MSE for introducing me to a great friend :)

All has gone quiet in L's room so I'm crossing my fingers he's gone off (he was just chatting away!) and I am going to put my feet up

Anyone know of good places for cheap, long sleeved pyjamas in 12-18 months, I want to move on to them rather than sleepsuits for L. I think I'm sorted for the rest of his clothes in the next size

Page 4! I did look yesterday for it but gave up in the end.

Was going to take Squeak out today as it's just the 2 of us but she had a short sleep this morning and started asking to go to bed (by which I mean I picked her up after I changed her bum and she gave me a hug then waved to the living room - that seems to mean I want to go to bed lol) and I'd have felt mean keeping her up, so she's having a sleep. I have cleaned the kitchen though and washed 2 loads and hung out 1 - just in here to do now! If she sleeps for a while I'll clean the bathroom, but it might be too late to go far when she wakes up.

We are pulling bedtime back an hour so naps today are banned.. she got up at 10am !!!! 13.5 hours sleep after a 3 hour nap is NOT the best.. so she can go to bed at 7 and get up at 8:30/9ish hopefully.. and her 3 hour nap can be from 12-3.. we will be back in our school routine! Though she keeps laying herself on a cushion or my towel and is getting a bit whiny.. 4 hours to bedtime!

Had thoughts about school shoes.. girls are going Friday as we need to do Tesco so OH can do that and Ill hobble up to Clarks and the boys next Tuesday, OH can do Toys R Us and Ill take the boys in the mothercare Clarks.. We need a quick run to buy a birthday present for Squeaks friend.

DD4 has just grown into the ae 7 school trousers at 9 after 4 months on growth hormone replacement.. she was wearing age 5 before the holidays!!!! so we are happy in our house! I need to write names in them all now though which is not so good lol.

    Hi all,
Does anyone know when the next sainsburys third off baby offer will be? Or if I have just missed one? I have nectar points to use and thought I'd buy nappies with them. Thanks x

Hi, not sure about Sainsbury's, but Boots have 3 for 2 on baby at the minute.

I got long sleeved pyjamas in Asda, 2 pairs for £5.

Just recovering from a week of sickness. Had a flu for 4 days that developed into vomiting uncontrollably and unable to move from bed for 3 days:(. DH was great looking after LO though.

It was part of a field marketing job. It's a monthly project where I collect prices covertly with a dictaphone, then I audio type the recordings into a spreadsheet for the company. All the marketing work I do is ad-hoc through agencies and I love it. Let me know if you want more info.

I also do ad-hoc admin work for a local small business after I met the owner through a football forum. That was just by chance, but it might be worth investigating local small business or looking into being a virtual PA.

Hope you feel better soon CL xx

Thanks Becles. I'm mainly doing consultancy but I am interested in adding more possible income streams too...just need time to investigate it all!!

Thanks re the pjs CL, I'm very lucky as a friend has just said she can give me a load she doesn't need :) Must be my lucky day as some nappies and wraps arrived in the post from another friend this morning!

Glad you're on the mend CL. Your illness sounds very nasty.

I need to get some pyjamas for Joe too. He seems to get frustrated with sleepsuits now as the legs get pulled down when he crawls around and then he can't stand up as his feet are in the knees of the suits!

He's starting to get into this cruising the furniture business now, which is a bit scary. Maybe I should keep him in the sleepsuits to stop him standing up so he can't work out how to walk!

Joe had another settling in session at the nursery today and was much better this time. They said there were a few tears when he realised we'd gone, but he was fine after that and had a great time :) So I think he'll be OK when he starts doing full days from September.

DH and I had planned to go into town while Joe was at the nursery, so we could enjoy a leisurely coffee somewhere without one of us having to wrestle with a little person while the other downed their coffee so we can switch! Didn't turn out that way though... DH had a warning light in his car to check the coolant which was just below the minimum when he looked last night. We stopped at Halfords to get some more, and when he looked it was empty  His radiator appears to have sprung a leak :( He put more in and we got the car home, but that was our child-free morning wasted. The garage can't look at his car til next week so we'll have to rely on mine (good job we have the 2 as public transport is useless where we live so we'd be really stuck without a car). Just hope it's not going to be stupidly expensive to fix :(

    Morning

That's so annoying about the car big bird. Hope it's not too expensive to fix.

Hope you find some other work Rach. If I can help, just ask.

Lovely day today - off for a smear at the doctors. I hate having them done :o I'm not taking Charlotte as her head would be in the way having a look and she'd be asking way too many questions :rotfl:

Lol Becles. Charlotte sounds like a star! I missed your post this morning or Id've replied sooner :o hope the smear wasn't too horrible xx

Made use of the 25% off TU clothing that's on in sainsburys at the moment, they had the gingham summer dresses reduced to £2.50 each and with 25% off too, so we got 6 in a range of sizes. Also got DD1 15 pairs of socks and told her I don't expect to see her trying to go out in trainers and no socks again, PJ's for the twins as they've only got nighties atm, fleece blanket for Squeak, single bed size, was reduced to £3.20, and a pack of sleepsuits for the new baby, plus 3 t shirts for OH, saved £27!
