Have been quite upset this morning about the red arrows crash yesterday :( I was sad about it anyway but have now been talking to my brother who was working up at the flying club at the airport all day yesterday and he said it was the saddest place in the world to be, everyone was in shock :(:( especially since it looks likely now he gave his life to bring his plane down away from houses.

On a more cheerful note, It's Squeaks birthday today she is one :j:j
    Belated happy birthday squeak.

Me and OH are on a health kick and did two 3 mile walks over the weekend :T. We are both very over weight and have bad backs but carried dd in a sling and it wasn't too bad. I'm thinking about getting a silk moby as they are cooler for mum and baby plus I imagine they'd be less bulky to carry around but I'm not sure I can justify buying a 4th sling lol.

Quick q. I'm after an anti roll changing mat but they no longer stock them in our local boots and mothercare...does anyone know of a high st shop I can get one from? I hate buying online unless I have to as I hate waiting in for deliveries - I always seem to pop out just when they come to deliver!!

Looks like a sunny one - have a good day everyone.

Thanks for Squeak's birthday wishes :)

She's currently sat in her high chair with a bowl of ready brek and a spoon. Needless to say she is starting to look like she has been rendered lol but she has actualy been feeding it to herself so I'm happy with that.

Those bowls with the suckers on the bottom are a godsend!

Oh and she has taken 3 or 4 unaided steps in a row yesterday :j admittedly to the sofa... but it's a start :D

It's starting to feel like Autumn here... It was very chilly this morning and it's been breezy although it's not too cloudy.

Making the most of it today and have stripped the girls beds and got some of it in the WM because it's meant to be wind and rain pretty much all week starting from tomorrow.

Well done :j The hardest part is actually getting up and doing something!

Need to get back on the health kick now I'm back from hols. Going to make an effort and lose some weight.

Not today though as I've still got masses of typing work to get through *panic*

Have a good day all xx

ah delain she is growing up so fast, happy belated birthday squeak xx

Tsstss you need neighbours like ours, we take in anyones parcels from number 1 to 10 and if we are out its always left with someone. Not heard of the antiroll changing mats.

Just found out my sister asked her midwife for a c-section lol bless her, think she is getting scared of the birth now.

I seem to be the parcel getter in chief here. Think it's just cos the delivery men have twigged after 4 years that I'll probably be here, so it's my door they come to when the person they wanted isn't in :o

Me too.. lol.... I forever have a stream of people at the door to drop off parcels for the rest of the street then the residents coming collecting.

Mine is a lazy dollop she wont even stand on her own let alone walk.. she is going to start walking the week the baby arrives I have said this all along... that would be THE single most inconvenient time so that is when it will be.

I am happyish anyway.. I FINALLY found the pair of trousers I have been looking for for about 3 months.. and a brand new maternity top I didnt even know I had.. so I have charity shopped some of my jumpers and have a couple more bits thrown in the ebay box :D

I also have thrush... bloody great... see.. someone mentions it on another thread and I get it.. there is something VERY wrong with my body :(

Sounds like fat lump has finished her shreddies so Ill go refill her bowl..

    Hi all,
Does anyone know when the next sainsburys third off baby offer will be? Or if I have just missed one? I have nectar points to use and thought I'd buy nappies with them. Thanks x
