It's alternating between drizzle and heavy rain here. Went to Tesco and luckily I'd just got everything loaded in the car when the heavens opened. It was really bad driving back, especially with Charlotte asking questions about important things like "what do robots eat?" and "can dwarves dig holes?" while I was trying to concentrate on the road.
I was at the toilet earlier and she came bounding in, so I said in my pretendy cross voice "how dare you disturb me while I'm urinating". She looked puzzled for a moment and said "but you're not euro-eighteen, you're euro-thirty six" :rotfl::rotfl:Here I go again on my own....0 -

I was on the loo once when the twins were about 2.5 and one of them had something to show me, she ran in and held her hand out with a sizeable spider on :eek: all attempts not to pass on my phobia went out of the window and I ordered her to get that thing away from me:o

Hi all. Just finished my 45 mile trip from work to my family who had LO for the day and home. Knackered! I really like my job and my boss (and I'm happy with the pay), but traveling is a pain when it reduces the time with the LO in the evening.
Is it just me or does your LO's poo stink so bad when they eat fish? Yuk! Increased by the fact that my SIL hadn't put on her nappy properly and half the poo went in the nappy and half out (she has 3 children).
I was changing LO and she reached for the dirty nappy and I said "don't touch that" and she sounded like she repeated what I said! "Dan Ta tha". So cute!
Hope everyone has a good weekend. I'm looking forward to a few days off work!0 -
Twins were like that too Becles, except they'd insist on having certain things on then ignore it!
Squeak has a huge plate of fruit salad for lunch, OH bought her her own little cutlery set for her birthday and she likes poking things with the fork, she can't quite spear them yet though. It has been quite cute watching her chase a grape all around the plate before getting cheesed off and just picking it up :rotfl:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Haven't posted this week I don't think. We're having separation anxieties at the moment - very draining. Any tips on how I get her over this stage fairly quickly. I can't get her to take day naps and she cries if I leave her sight.
I'm only free this afternoon cos OH felt like a nap and so she has gone down with him on our bed.
A cuppa and some biscuits for me now and an MSE catch up. Hope those of you suffering the long, summer holiday are hanging in there, not much longer to go.

Morning
I think they just go through clingy phases for no reason. Charlotte still has the odd moment when she doesn't want me to leave her.
Had a good day yesterday round my parents house, apart from the football which was tedious.
Off to Beamish Wild this morning with my lot, parents and brother and family. Taking a picnic and then going back to my parents for a meal this evening.
Hope everyone has a good day xxHere I go again on my own....0
