Sorry to hear was a rubbish result Becs, I don't support anyone but like watching the football. That's nice of your SIL too re breast milk. have you seen the dolls you can buy that children wear a vest and baby suckles?

Just relaxing as not been too well, both boys are at a bbq so have house to myself feels very odd.

  • Afternoon ladies!
Hope everyone has had a good weekend! We went to the car boot this morning-it was heaving! there were loads of people with boxes of baby clothes to rummage through!! most were not the right size though, typically lol There was one though that was the right size, and i picked a couple of nice bits out of the box, but as i rummaged further down there was stuff with baby sick still on it  needless to say i did not buy anything from that one lol I did get though, one of those big yellow school boots with all the bits in for £2!! Me and dh both had one when we were littler and ds 2 has been playing with it all afternoon!!

    eeewwwwww M&M sounds.. delightful..... BLEURGH!!!

Squeak is currently trying to insert things into the cats anus.. what is it with my baby and cats bums? She has eaten all the bits off him already.. I swear neither her nor the cats are right in the head!

Chipshop chips and the remains of yesterdays roast pig for dinner today for the beastlets.. I cant be bothered to cook, I hurt and I am tired.. I might conjure up a vegeatable or 2 for them too.. if I have any..

I am trying to decide if I can face braving the shoe shop tomorrow with them all.. DS2 and DS3 can go into town on the bus and us civilised folk can go in the car.. I have some stuff reserved in Argos and we can park in Tesco.. and we can hobble to Clarks and see what they dont have suitable for my odd lot. I dont think DS3 has outgrown his TBH but they are fairly trashed... I might just polish them :D I could wait until Friday and drag everyone up the street but I cant walk that far so would still need a lift... Anyway.. I have uniform to name in the meantime... so I best shift.

I've got all the jumpers now (finally!) my nan did the shoes, for which I am eternally grateful, and I'm just waiting for the bits from the t'internet to arrive. There was no way I was going to go into one school shop and spend that much, just makes the fact that it and the school are in cahoots more annoying, especially as you can't get the jumpers online and they're just trying to get people to think 'oh it's easier to do it all at once' barstewards.

Oh and I must order DD1's lunchbox.

Need to find the little sewing kit to do the names, OH will say just use the sewing machine but I don't want the stitching to be visible from outside and I don't know where it is. Can see me picking up a cheapy needle when we go out tomorrow lol.

Sorting out uniform this week with my lot then placing an order for everything we need from M&S as they have free delivery on school stuff at the moment.

I think James and Charlotte's shoes will be ok, and I've not asked Josh about his yet. My Mam is an ex-Clarks fitter so I'll get her to check them all on Wednesday when she comes round :D
Here I go again on my own....

Happy birthday Apricot! I cried when i left LO with my mum to go for a meal.

I also went to carboot this morn, got Poppy some little ugg style shoes for 50p.Not practical but cute all the same. My mum got a highchair to keep at hers.
  • Also forgot to say that Max had his first night in his cot in his room lat night! He went to bed no problems and slept till about 1am, then i think he woke another 3 times before 6am-am hoping tonight is better lol he had been sleeping from 6.45-5am. Not sure if it was because he could see out of the cot, but i think he might have been a bit chillier-his room is cooler (not cold) than ours and I suppose where he was snug in his moses basket it might have kept him a bit warmer. I found one of ds 2's fleecy sleepsuits so will try that with a sheet tonight and see if that helps. I hope so because I have listed the moses baket on ebay lol anyway, I said to hubby, he has to leep in his cot a his feet touched the bottom of the moses baket and his head the top lol
Took the older 2 to get their school shoes fitted-we went lat week and got them measured but they didnt have the shoes they wanted in their sizes so they ordered them. Good job I got them fitted as ds 2 needed a half size bigger-and the amount they cost me (£70 for the 2 pairs ) I was going to make sure they fitted properly!!
Also picked up a nuby cup for Max and a couple of little playmobil sets that were reduced to £5 each in boots to put away for ds 2 for xmas!
Right off to put Max to bed-cross your fingers for me for a better night!!
