Poppy's new thing today is blowing raspberries...she was copying her dad earlier lovely !
Just got some good news that my flexible working request has been accepted so i am going back 4 days a week and also i am starting and finishing ealier which will make finding childcare easier as i would have been home too late otherwise.
I'm the same. I just started back last week 4 days a week and starting and ending earlier. But my 4 days is just until my 35 days hols run out (get another 25 hols in Jan though). I might aim for another maternity leave when my hols run out.
Oh and my LO went through a phase of constantly blowing raspberries too! It lasted for about 2 months.0 -
Thats good you could use your holiday. Ohh another one, exciting!
Will look forward to the continous raspberry blowing then haha.0 -

Hello I am hoping that somebody can give me a few ideas that will help as my currently over tired brain has run out of ideas at the moment. I am worried about keeping my now 10 week old daughter warm at night as she currently moves up her crib at night until her head is wedged in the top right corner which I am not overly concerned about as it is fabric so shouldn't injure her but she moves out from under her blanket when she is doing this. I am assuming that she uses her feet to propel herself as I have never actually seen her doing it yet so think that the gro bags would not be any use as she would end up choking herself. I have bought a few fleece sleep suits which should be warm enough for autumn but am worried about when winter arrives and have no idea what to do so would really appreciate any suggestions.0

put her in a sleeping bag, they just move with them.. or they cant move as they need the friction of heels on bed sheets which the dont have in a bag.. they all slither up the cot.. which is why I think all this rubbish about putting their feet at the bottom so they dont go under the covers is ridiculous i am yet to see a child bury itself under covers at this young an age..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

hi KM my daughter is ten wks too and does the same thing
. at the mo I put her in a cellular blanket and just tuck it under the mattress to keep it in place as she gets abit hot in her sleeping bag, but I do plan to go back to the bag when it gets colder. I agree with Pigpen, it does seem to move with her. MSE PARENT CLUB MEMBER.ds1 nov 1997ds2 nov 2007:jFirst DDFirst DD born in june:beer:.0 -
James was a wriggler and was never under the blankets. They didn't do sleeping bags when he was little, so I just made sure he had a warm babygro on and I bought one of those free standing plug in radiators for his room. I left it on low all night which was enough to keep the chill off his room so he didn't feel cold and he was fine.
Busy day today. Off to hospital shortly with Josh for a physio appointment on his knee, then got masses of work to do as I'm covering for someone else as well as doing my own work. I don't get paid holiday so didn't earn anything last week, so the extra cash will come in useful
Have a good day all xxHere I go again on my own....0
