    hassle I remember you x

MV Bob tends to do one poo a day, none today which was odd, been waiting all day for it - constantly checking his nappy because they are loose if you dont change him quick they leak yuck, sorry. He does the odd day where there are 3-4 and doesnt seem unwell or anything, I think its a part of weaning and teething etc.

Becles you stood for 2 hours in a queue - you're mad lol Hope its worth it xx

You have a point PP re the breastmilk!

He just seems to be doing tons of poo's at the moment. He seems quite happy though so I'm not worried.

Just made him some cauliflower cheese for a few meals. He's not tried cauliflower or cheese before, so it should be an interesting one!

He seems to like everything I've given him so far though, so don't think I have a fussy eater on my hands.

He's like his mum..loves food and will eat anything! :D

MV t used to go days without a poo then do a mega one lol but when we started food he always did one with every meal pretty much.

Is nearly 11 months too young to get his molar teeth? T has 8 but has been unwell last few days (bad nappies too) and tonight was rolling around in his cot with his finger right in his mouth.

11 months is not too young for canines!

Molars are usually a bit later .. the last ones can come through as late as 3!

    :D

Hi MV, my LO loves cauliflower cheese or broccoli cheese. She can't get enough. I finely chop some cooked chicken and stir it in too, then freeze in little pots.

I found the first thing she didn't seem to like today . I made a rattatoulie type thing and she screwed up her face. The only thing in it she hadn't had before in other dishes was courgette.

The last 3 nights she has slept 12 hours through with no wakenings. About time! She's 8 months next week.

I stopped breast feeding last week as I am back at work. One of my boobs is still lumpy and uncomfortable. Anyone know when this is likely to stop?

Oh and she does 2 poos a day. One around lunchtime and one around dinner time. And they are substantial! We joke that she is renting her nappy out to horses!

Good tip re putting in some chicken too CL. I want to try and make him some more little meals. The shop bought ones all taste bland and the same I find, although I tried him on a Heinz chicken roast dinner one today, and he did seem to like that. Better to make your own stuff though :)

I'm stopping b/feeding at the moment too. I'm swapping one BF a week for a formula feed, so this week we are on 3 ff's and 3 bf's. My boobs are sore and lumpy too :( although a friend who has also recently stopped BFing said they should get back to normal within a couple of weeks.

MV Have you tried him with homemade bolognese and pasta (smashed with a rolling pin when dry as per PP's tip)? I do one with onion, garlic, celery, carrots, mushrooms, tinned tomatoes, mince, a little smoked bacon and basil and oregano. LO loves it, it freezes well and gets lots of veg into her. I cook the pasta, stir it through and freeze in little pots. We also freeze it for our dinners.

    Morning

Don't be afraid of giving babies strong tastes. One of Charlotte's fave first meals was beef in ale casserole. She still prefers beef to other meats. She also had chilli and curry from a young age and will eat spicy food. It's good to get them used to your diet and meals, as it means you can just cook one meal for everyone rather than faffing on cooking different food for different people.

Another busy day yesterday but got all my jobs done, and work is quieter for the rest of the week.

No work on today as the health visitor is coming this morning. They're going to attempt nursery sports day again this afternoon, but the clouds look very grey and heavy, so I'm not very optimistic.

Have a good day all xx
Here I go again on my own....
