PP you are always so busy... you make me look like a sloth!
Implant made me go lala too. It was a great contraceptive, I felt really fat and ugly and had permanent PMT so I was either feeling to low or too angry with OH (for no real reason, poor bloke) to have any sex at all
It also made me pack a lot of weight on and I still have a lot of it 3 years later!
Squeak gets overtired sometimes too, now I just put her to bed when I can see it coming and she goes off more or less straight away. She is having toast for lunch and is covered in marmalade
Well we need to run to catch the bus in a minute. It was boiling this morning then started tipping down, so best go and grab the girls a coat really I suppose.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

I don't actually DO anything... my house is just squalid and I just battle to stay afloat!!! The only thing I do get through regularly is the laundry.. I hate cleaning.. building and destroying and decorating I love! The actual day to day humdrum boring stuff I don't do.

Finally managed to win a jumperoo on ebay - just got to go and collect it. Looking forward to having some more armour with which to entertain LO during the day, I find keeping her occupied so tiring.
Giz, I took up Rach's advice about getting them down for naps before they get too tired - after about two hours awake for us. She is now taking 2 or 3 decent naps during the day so that helps me get stuff done/put my feet up. But on the other hand I'm still awaiting that hallowed day when she sleeps thru at night. We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
PP - Are you replacing whole mattresses? Or is it code for something far less exciting :rotfl:
mi3 - well done on the jumparoo.....I am also waiting for my LO to sleep through consistantly, she is now 1yr old:(Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Yes, the key for any baby sleep is to put them down before they get tired!

Am I the only who didn't mind the Implant? It kinda made my periods go weird (sometimes none sometimes regularish), but other than that I didn't notice any difference. I'm more PMSy with no hormone BC than I've ever been with any!!
Those of you with older ones, at what age do you start doing no tolerance with picky eating? I'm struggling with finding a balance between obviously trying to make sure he doesn't go hungry but not wanting to create a fussy eater who will only a certain few foods in the process. Finn keeps getting worse it feels like and he has a REAL sweet tooth - he loves fruit but not much vegetables and he can very hit or miss with lots of dinnertime foods (but of course loves cakes & treats!).top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

DD had only one nap today - funnily enough it was while OH went to the shops. I'm sure she doesn't sleep because OH is home and she doesn't want to miss anything.
We've had a nightmare putting her down again. She cried all the way through her nappy change and into sleepsuit. She doesn't cry when I'm home alone (OH often misses DD's bedtime).
Last night was the worst night we've had since she was 2 weeks old
She woke loads of times.
I'm so tired and fed up. I'm back to not wanting more children again.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Evening ladies.
Giz - sorry you had such a bad night. I have come to the conclusion that babies 100% do what they want to do, when they want to. I get nights where I think there is no way I want another one, but then I have an ace day (like today) when I think I'd love to be preggo again.
Took Joshie swimming for the first time today. He LOVED it! It is a bit of a faff though, getting baby changed into the pool and then out again dried off and dressed again whilst you are dripping wet yourself!
He produced a 4th poo just before we went in..the boy is a poo machine!
I can't believe that Josh will be 6 months old in 9 days time! Seems like only yesterday I was squeezing him out (yeowch!)Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
I'm the same, just when I think I've got the hang of this parenting thing, she acts like Damien.
Today has been good though, two 2.5 hour sleeps and she's gone down as normal tonight. Woohoo! We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0
