Morning all. Just got AF for the first time in 16 months yesterday :(. I think it must be because I've dropped down to 2 BF recently as back to work a few days a week.

Are there any cold cereals apart from Weetabix that would be suitable for a 7 month old? My LO has Weetabix for supper. When it was colder she would have had Readybrek or warm milk in Weetabix. She seems to have gone off Weetabix and I really want to give her supper with milk, as she refuses to take a bottle, or milk in a sippy cup, but don't want to give anything that is full of sugar. Any ideas?

She didn't like baby rice. I think it was too bland. I also think that's why she's gone off Weetabix. I make sure her dinners are full of flavour with herbs, garlic, etc. She doesn't seem to like the texture of mashed banana and gags when I give it to her. Thanks for taking the time to reply. I was wondering about porridge.

Porridge with cinnamon and chopped up raisins? I stir through some linseeds as well for omega 3s when I have them.

Have you tried mixing weetabix with flavoured yoghurt?? Lotties the same..loves her flavours but I've found she'll have the weetabix if mixed with a lightly flavoured yoghurt...we've been giving her some of our Onken bio pots which are going down well :) They're not as full of sugar as you might think, but then again I'm quite relaxed about sugars etc:o Everything in moderation and all that;):)

Sounds good, I'd like to try that. Would raisins be OK for a 7 month old?

Thanks Fuzz. Your thanks button has vanished. I like that idea too. My DH worries more than me about sugar and salt. What did people do years ago? My mum asked me on Sunday if she could give LO Wotsits LOL.

Anyone give me any hint about dropping milk feeds?? DD just isn't that interested in milk anymore except at bedtime and I was wondering is it best to drop the amount of milk slowly at each feed or just get rid of 1 feed completely??

Any ideas or advice would be appreciated..especially those of you with loads of [STRIKE]brats[/STRIKE] little darlings as I imagine you've had differences with each 1.

TIA and sorry for the sudden multi-posts..I feel like a spammer:p:D
