((hugs)) to bb with the teething is awful t definitely suffered more at night too.

PP does seem like a lot, t has breakfast : shredded wheat with fruits, lunch: bowl homemade rice porridge (rice, meat and veg) or something on toast, tea: pasta twists, chicken and veg (if I remember a dessert like fromage frais). Has a few odd snacks too, like fruit toast or rice cakes.

T rather than going to bed just wants to stand up in cot and babble, is tired as yawning/rubbing eyes etc - just leaving him as if I go in thinks is a game!

Blimey, PP, I don't think I eat that much in a day! But Squeak's got growing to do (whereas I need to do some shrinking :o) She doesn't look fat in the pictures you've posted, maybe she's just got a fast metabolism?

Joe was better after his nap, but still not his usual self. He's not keen on letting me look in his mouth, but from the couple of glimpses I've had it looks like there are 6 teeth on their way at the top  No wonder he's not a very happy bunny :( He's normally such a happy, smiley little chap.

I hope your Squeak isn't suffering too much, delain.

DH came home with a tub of Ben and Jerry's Phish Food, a big bag of maltesers and a kinder egg  And no, I'm not sharing, they're all mine :EasterBun :rotfl:

She is really tall (98th centile) and 85th for weight so she isn't fat she is just a gannet! I swear here is no filling her. She still has boob as well..

She only has 4 teeth and the top 2 are only just through still.. no wonder we have had 4 monster stinky nappies today though!

Hi everyone. Back to work a few days a week until my official full time return date in August.

LO was weighed and measured this week and was 90th centile for length and 70th for weight.

I feel like such a bad mother. This evening I put her on the bed and was looking through her sleepsuits to get one for her to wear tonight and she rolled off the bed and hit the floor. The bed is very low and she landed face down. She has a blue bump above her right eye. She screamed straight away for about 2 minutes and then I distracted her and she started to giggle and has been in a great mood since. She took a big BF before bed, played with her teddy in her cot for 5 minutes and then fell asleep. I'll be checking her every 10 minutes I'm so worried.

Squeak crawled off the step into the back room today and landed on her face on the concrete floor and made her nose bleed.. so she has a red scuffed nose.. Blood and snot and tears and drool is VERY messy!!!!

These things happen.. and rarely cause any damage.. :D Babies are very robust little things!!

It is when they don't cry you know they are hurt! They cry becuse they are frightened more than anything.. or because people swoop on them and they milk it for all it's worth. They have a lot worse to come and it is all about learning spacial awareness and about gravity!!

Thanks PP. In my rational mind I'm sure she's fine. I just feel a bit guilty.

Speaking of food, today my LO had BF, baby yogurt, 1 pear, homemade spag bol (adult yogurt sized pot), baby yogurt, homemade cauliflower cheese with roast chicken (adult yogurt sized pot), 1 weetabix with milk and BF at bedtime.

I was out of the house at work from 8am until 6pm, so could only do 2 BF and she won't take a bottle. She had plenty of water all day though.

Oh forgot to add, she is 7 months.

Looks like we are getting 1 PC, 1 lappy, a big monitor for the boys pc, 4 new phones and possibly a couple of bikes... or a combination thereof..

i always think its strange what some babies can eat. my sis always comments on portions i give H , but he is long and skinny, her wee one was a big tubby baby but ate about half what H eats! hes 10 months and doesnt seem to know when to stop eating!
today he had muesli and bottle for breakfast, beans on toast for morning snack, chicken casserole for lunch, afternoon snack of rice cakes with bottle, waiting on his tea snack was breadsticks and cheese, tea was beef stirfry with rice, fromage frais then a bottle.
oh was late picking him up from nursery and he was starving!
starting to give him what we have for tea and not making anything special- saves the sunday i used to spend cooking cos im only home for 1 tea during the week.

My LO loves to play with window envelopes (bills LOL!) I gave her one the other day and she rustled and played with it, then I turned my back and she had eaten half of it!
