I buy things in advance, I have bought Squeak some lovely clothes in 12-18 months, you should be able to judge by how your DD is now. Is she tall, or short, is she in the 'right' age size now IYSWIM. Squeak is in 9-12 months at the moment so I am judging from that I can buy 12-18/18-24 months for winter/spring. Remember the only 'specific' winter thing they need is a coat or a pramsuit, and t shirts and things that are in the sales now will be fine for indoor wear and outside under coats etc :)

Thanks Giz. I need to go to the library to take DD books back. I shall have a nosey there. Your plants sound nice. I managed to weed the front of the house whilst DD had her lunchtime nap. I have next to no time for gardening now :(

If anyone's interested - looks like the Next sale is on 16 July. I plan on getting some sleepsuits and bodysuits for the winter months. We're just moving into 3-6 month clothing now - makes me sad when she outgrows things - she's growing so fast :(

When is your degree ceremony? :)

It was on Saturday. Had a brilliant day with the bairns and my parents and it felt dead good when they read my name out and I walked across the stage.

@Becles - Charlotte sounds absolutely adorable. I love reading about the things that all your more grown up kids do and say :) How old is Charlotte?

Has anyone ever found lego suitable for 6 or 12 month plus?

    She's 4 now.

We had Mega Blocks which is similar to Duplo. At a younger age they just liked chucking the bricks around, but they gradually learned how to stack them and stuff. We had some blocks with wheels on and they used to like making strange cars and stuff.

I've bought things in advance, but made sure they are not season specific. You can wear plain t-shirts and jogging bottoms all year round and I looked for things like skirts that could be worn with bare legs or tights and avoided tops with slogans like "hot summer days" as that would look silly in the winter!

My Mam and Dad were so proud. I've never seen my Dad get so emotional.

It was my Dad's gown I was wearing as he did an OU degree in the 70's. My Mam was heavily pregnant with me at his graduation ceremony so I was in the photo's taken of him wearing it :D

My grade is better than both my Dad's and my brother so I keep teasing him I'm the highest qualified in the family :rotfl:

Went for a trial class of mother & baby yoga today and it went really well. It was nice and relaxed pace for both of us, you just join in as and when baby wants to.

Also, amazed to see that out of 14 mums there were 12 of us booby feeding.

Congrats Becles, one of the best days of my life was getting graduated.

Sounds lovely mi3, love it when that happens re feeding.

Think at 10 months I'm kind of ending bf as t has been struggling to get much 1st thing so I've been feeding him for about 30/40 mins and still not happy so is tiring me out, plus feel need a break from the only one doing the early shift. Just going to drop things gradually in next few weeks to reduce my supply -don't want to get engorged!

    Morning

School is closed today due to the teachers strike, so nursery is cancelled. Not working today so I've got a full day with Charlotte :j

She wants to go to Tesco first thing and then we are going out but she hasn't decided where yet!

Hope everyone has a good day xx
