Congrats on the house offer being accepted Rach. Hope you get the mortgage sorted.
If it is teething Giz, the Ashton and Parsons powders are fantastic.
Had a fantastic day. Degree ceremony was really good. I was dead nervous but felt really good walking across the stage. Had a lovely meal and my parents afterwards. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Yayy Becles, glad you had a good day! Congratulations!0

Well done Becles
Charlotte will be proudly telling everyone you went out in Grandad's old dress for months :rotfl:
Rach good news on the house, and I hope that everyone who has been getting broken sleep has a good night tonight.
My family are getting worse. I am seriously considering changing all my numbers, or just moving away overnight, or possibly bothMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Delain.. get a new phone and sim and use that all the time and just turn your usual phone on once a week to catch up on any texts or messages the loony members leave.. that way they can stil let you know they are loopy and you get a break!
Boys continued being special until being banished to bed..
Squeak has decided she wants 50,000 feeds a day and has discovered she can help herself.. and feed while wriggling and shifting herself into various awkward positions.. though she may just be trying to work around the bump! It is getting a bit large and so far she has discovered it makes a fabulous seat and a very comfy pillow!!
I have updated my finances spreadsheet and my baby list
And sent an email chasing the plasterer!
Fairly producive day in spite of the insanity!!
And other than shaving the girls heads I need a foolproof way of deterrin lice.. DD3 was hopping!! I thought DD4 was bad but OMG I have never seen anything like DD3!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I ended up washing my 3 with tea tree oil and tea tree shampoo/conditioner 3 times one week, no nits since fingers crossed.
I've been using the Aussie Hair Insurance leave in conditioner spray as well, because apparently they don't like the way it makes the hair slippery.
I am going to have to do something, the phone number thing most likely.
I know my (not so little) little brother is going to ring my mum and give her what for, because she's rung up and criticised me and called me names every night this week :mad:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

tea tree aggravates our eczema.... mine in particular so I can't put it on them.. this is half our problem I think.
Have you tried telling her to eff off in no uncertain terms!?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Yes... she just rings back the next day, pretends nothing happened, gets sulky when I don't apologise for telling her that someone who used to stay in bed till 1pm+ at the weekend and leave your kids to their own devices (from when I was 5 and brother was 3) thought it was OK to try and set the house on fire when your kids are in , and shove same kids outside on Christmas eve then lock the door 2 years on the trot can't dish out parenting advice she just starts again.
Sorry to hear you can't use tea tree. Last week my bathroom smelt so strongly of it I could hardly breathe :rotfl:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

I wouldn't stand for it.. but then I have just had a run in with my mother and one of my sisters.. none of us ever apologise.. and why should we for our own justified opinion.. but there were pleny of home truths dished out last night... I lost my sense of 'anything for a quiet life' and gave them all an ear aching.. I am sick of my sister mainly interfereing and the lot of them stirring the poop... so I told them..
Everyone is nice a pie to me today!!.. Don't upset the hormonal fruitcake!! lol
I have a feeling I am being bit of a cow anyway.. OH is running a bit cooler than usual.. I know he doesn't like fat women or find them attractive and I am a whale!... but it's his own fault so he can accept the consequences!
I actually love the smell of tea tree. We tried neem oil but the girls said their friends thought they were 'stinky' so I don't know what else to use.. I am thinking of trying the hairspray as suggested elsewhere... just have to keep the aerosol away from Squeak and her inhalers!
I have cankles again this evening...
Oh.. and last time I forgot to say... congrats Becles... glad you had a fabulous day

Morning
I would just tell her you don't want to speak to her unless she is civil to you delain. Then ignore her if she kicks off. It's a tough enough job being a Mam etc., and you don't need extra stress from relatives.
Still grinning about yesterday. It was more emotional than I thought and it's the best I've felt for a long time.
Looks like it's going to be a hot sunny day here. Charlotte is off out with her Dad, so I think I'll just potter around in the garden.
Have good day all xxHere I go again on my own....0
