Charlotte has been to the party this morning, then she's played out most of the afternoon and was out again after tea. She's just come in and said "eeeeh Mam, I'm absolutely knackered" :rotfl:Here I go again on my own....0

Do babies get hayfever? Tigger has been quite snotty and sneezy past few weeks but doesn't seem to have a cold (I think).
ive just been wondering the same thing, H really snotty and sneezy too but apart from that no other cold symptoms!:j0 -
No idea re hayfever I'm afraid but i guess any allergy could be at any age?
Hope everyone is ok. We had a lovely weekend with only one snapping at each other session, nice change! L is asleep for now and I'm surfing, should really be doing the church magazine but it can wait! We went for a short walk with our new littlelife back carrier yesterday in preparation for our holiday and L fell asleep straight away which is a good sign. I'm a hippy sling fan myself but dh insists (probably correctly) that we need something framed for coastal path walks.
Also picked up a couple of new books for L, that's not my lion and Fox's socks. Anyone know any good story board books that are good/ and where to get them cheap (apart from amazon!)Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Hi Ladies,
sorry but i did not know Scruffy, but my thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
I have had a tough day with William today, he seems so happy and then all of a sudden starts screaming and it is really hard to get him out of it. I believe it is because he is teething?
Then after a very long day of lots of screaming and lots of giggles my OH and I have just had a solicitor around to write our Wills, quite serious but very glad to have got it done.
Now i hope William sleeps well tonight and i can get some sleep so i am able to cope with the screaming that may happen tomorrow, any advice on how to combat sudden teething pain would most welcome, thank you.Leopardlady

I think most people here who know me already know but for those who don't, Isabella was born at home on Sunday afternoon. Everything went well and the timing was probably the best it possibly could have been. I've written about it in a bit more detail on my blog.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Hi Susan,
WM told me about Isabella and I've just read your blog. I am amazed at your strength and your faith and admire the way you have dealt with everything. Your poem is beatutiful, I wish you and your family the very best for the future x
As a full time lurker, I didnt know Scruffy much either, but my thoughts are with her family at this very sad time x0 -
That's a beautiful piece of writing Susan. I admire how strong you have been through this and hope your writing will help others who are unfortunate enough to go through what you have. Take care of yourself xxHere I go again on my own....0

OK rant coming up.
A neighbour just delivered my notification for tax credits that was delivered to their house, because although my name was on it, their address was on it. I have received a letter previously from them with my address on it, so something has gone wrong at their end.
My rant is the neighbour didn't check the address box (which I can understand) and opened the letter. It had my salary and my DH salary on it. I'm furious at the tax credit office! Also, even though I am on SMP for 4 months out of 2011/12 and will be payng for a creche for the rest of the year, I am not getting any tax credits!

That's so annoying CL. Is your income too high for tax credits now? I don't think you get anything if your joint income is above £40K-ish.Here I go again on my own....0
