My word it's been quiet

Glad you had a nice time Becles :D

I'm off out today to get a proper sized kitchen bin :o I've just got a tiny thing at the moment.

Keep having very strange vivid dreams :( apparently I was shouting in my sleep the other day according to OH. Haven't seen him yet this morning (he went to work early) but I expect I did it last night too.

On the plus side I got a lie in until 8 :j

Well I must way to make breakfast.

Have a nice day Becles and anyone else who might pop on today :D

    Morning

It has been quiet. Once upon a time it was so busy I struggled to keep up with the thread!

Hope you manage to get a decent sized kitchen bin. We've got a swing top bin but I'd rather have a pedal bin as the dogs poke their heads in and eat the manky left overs - yuk!!!!

I used to sleep talk when I was younger. We went on a weekend away with the Church and I was sharing a room with three other girls. Apparently I woke them all up because I was singing the theme tune from Jim'll Fix It in my sleep :o:rotfl:

Off to work this morning with a couple of jobs to do, then watching the football this afternoon. Desperate for a win today.

Lovely sunny day again so the bairns will be playing out again.

Hope everyone has a good day xx
Here I go again on my own....

Hi Becles and Delain and all those off enjoying the sunshine.

The weather here has been glorious all week and today looks beautiful too. I'm just up as DH took the baby when she woke at 7am to give me a lie in. I had my school friends over for lunch yesterday and LO was a star! We ate out on the patio and she sat in her bouncer in the shade playing with her feet and smiling at everyone and was quiet as a mouse. After an hour she began to squirm, so I took her and breastfed her, changed her and she went into her cot for a nap with no complaining. She napped for an hour and then came outside again and sat on everyone's knee, smiling and laughing. They all thought she was an angel. One of the girls is pregnant and was loving her. I didn't have the heart to tell her it isn't always like that!

    afternoon all.
have had a lovely few days. mum was over and looked after Kian every morning for me so i got to stay in bed till 9ish. a real luxury.
Thought at the start of the week K had got chicken pox but were only a few spots. but today he really is getting spots so is definitely chicken pox. doesnt seem bothered with them. he has a few in his hair which he has been rubbing with his hand but not touched any of the others yet.

Squeak had me up at 6 most days last week, but has gone until 7 the last few days. Which has felt like a lie in :rotfl: I hope the thread is quiet because everyone is out enjoying the sunshine! Another glorious day here :)

    And so are KH's.. gggrr

Apparently I am 'unreasonable' and 'a b!tch' because I have planned something with the children on Tuesday (BBQ) and my family is coming round an OH's family are doing 100 mile drive to come! and Wednesday (taking girls ice skating) and he wants them to spend the day with his girlfriend Wednesday.. not just a couple of hours ALL day.. How very dare I plan things for my children when he was given a list of the holiday dates 3 weeks ago and decided today he wants them Wednesday.. He can bog off.. I want more notice. He has been told he can have them anytime between Friday and next Tuesday now (he can't have them Thursday like he usually would as he has other far more important plans!) Let's see if he actually bothers...

He is having the boys overnight Tuesday to take them paintballing Wednesday but picking them up at 8pm Tuesday (by which time the girls will be in bed!) then leaving early.. and I am unpleasant things because I said no to the girls going.. if he was spending the day with them then I'd possibly reschedule the skating until Thursday.. but he isn't and I don't see why I should alter my plans so some randomer can spend a whole day with my girls.. if she wants children she should have had her own (juvenile moment lol) I can imagine what he would say if I said 'they are spending a whole day just with OH'.. He'd have a right tantrum!!

Anyhoo.. he is supposed to be ringing me later.. I might not answer the phone lol

Do they all come out with crap like this or am I just really lucky?!
