Yes Becles. I guess I should just be glad, but I didn't realise the baby element was gone. We would have gotten something with it for this tax year when I'm on maternity leave.

I'm still raging about the letter being delivered to someone else, and starting to be a little peeved that they opened it even though it clearly stated my first name and surname and my DH's too.

CL they may not have read the name first as they probably assumed all the post was for them. I accidentally opened a parcel addressed to OH a few weeks ago because aside from birthdays, 99% of parcels are addressed to me so I never thought to check. It was only after opening it that I remembered him having ordered something online and looked at the front to find it was addressed to him.

I forgot to say Squeak had her 8 months check yesterday, how scary is that

She's sitting up now which is nice. I got round to giving her the noisy train we got her for Christmas, (she wasn't ready for it then) and she'll quite happily sit making it do annoying tunes and waving her other toys about and shouting. It's making it a bit easier to get things done though she can be quite high maintenance sometimes.

The older girls contact saga rumbles on, final hearing in june i think, hopefully that will put a stop to it finally because it's just not fair on the kids.

Segways soung quite scary becles  I don't think I'd be brave enough lol

DD1 seems to be incapable of brushing her teeth properly. Getting sick of her evil breath and showing her how to do it. She's 9 this year for goodness sake.

    Hi!:)

Daisy still poorly a bit. I'm poorly but a bit better than I was. She thought it would be a great idea to be wide awake at 1.30am and play for a few hours:mad:

She hasn't slept since 3 months old and she's very nearly 7 months:rotfl:(Have to laugh or I'll be crying instead!!;))

Daisy was very ready for food at 4 months... there is absolutely no way we would of got through to 6 months. She eats so well and has a mixture of pureed stuff (which I don't think is any hassle and find easy to do) and finger foods including everything that we eat. I did make sure she had nothing with gluten before 6 months because of my health issues. I weaned because I KNEW she was ready... not because I wanted to do it for fun, anyone else was doing it etc etc. We may try her on deep fried mars bar from the chip van tomorrow night;)

Anyways... little ickle baby pics a possibilty???:):):)

Does it matter if the baby isn't ickle? I've got some squeak pics now :rotfl:

CL - did you deduct 100/wk from your salary? Because you do it for every week you are on mat leave - I just did it myself and then gave them that figure for my yearly salary (I don't trust them to calculate themselves, lol).

I have just got off the phone to a letting agency who have arranged for us to view a house on tuesday :j It's lovely and just round the corner from where we are now, which is good because I am very much leaning towards putting them into our local school now because DD1 is getting picked on. I can dream that we'll get it anyway lol she said they've had a lot of interest.

Yes Aless. I feel guilty now for complaining when so many people have real problems here. Sorry guys. I just needed a little vent and when you are at home by yourself with the baby, this forum is the easiest way to do that.

Is everyone enjoying the weather? I hope it lasts. My DH has 4 bank hols in the next 10 days:T, so looking forward to a bit of eating in the garden and walks round the local park.

They were great! We did a few practice laps of the car park to get the hang of them, then they set up a course. We had to go through cone "gates", slalom round cones, go through a bumpy bit in the woods, round some trees, over grass then gravel with gates, another slalom, then tight round a barrel twice, then back to the start. It was all timed and competitive. James won which he was chuffed about as the other people were adults so he was the youngest one there :D

My boys are like that. I do spot checks and if they are not cleaning their teeth, they get all their electronic stuff removed and grounded. Harsh I know, but they should know basic hygiene at their age so there is no excuse for not doing it!
