Just got a quick question. I'm certainly not complaining, but is it usual for an 11 week old to sleep through the night for a chunk of about 8 hours at a time?
We seem to have established a really good routine with Josh now, whereby he has a bath at around 6.30pm in the evening, then is cuddled/chatted to etc, then has a nap from about 7.30pm until around 10.30-11pm when OH gives him his dream feed (EBM from bottle), and then is pretty much down until 7am the next morning..?
As I am typing this he is still asleep, although I'm going to go and wake him shortly as I'm worrying that it's too long to go between feeds..or should I just chill and be grateful that at the moment he seems to be sleeping really well?
Honestly if it's not one thing to worry about, it's another!
If he sleeps.. rejoice!
DS1 and DD5 slept 10-6 from 6 days, Squeak from 10-8 from 2 days DS2, DD2 DD3 and DD4 all slept through from about 8-10 weeks... DD1 didn't sleep ever until she was 6 months she only screamed and DS3 slept through from about 3 weeks but had to be woken to be fed as he was 3.5lb and not gaining weight.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Giz & MV - count yourselves lucky - can't see my LO going thru the night anytime soon. I've heard that it's not the age but the weight and the size of the tummy that suddenly means they can go longer without food.
Which means we've got a long way to go yet. Shame because I've never suffered from engorgement and my boobs could do with the sleep as much as the rest of me!!We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -

Morning ladies,
glad it is getting better Becles.
Lucky you MV enjoy it
I was given a beautiful gerbere plant and a card. Lovely breakfast (not in bed ) then a huge lunch out. Lovely day until W decided to evacuate his entire stomach contents and then retch and choke at 7.30pm.
Luckily he slept after an hour of this and then fed well at 11pm. So made us worry, but is fine today.
I on the other hand have d and feel very sick, i think today is going to be a very long day!Leopardlady
