Thanks PP will ring them on Monday to ask, just one more thing on the long list of 'to do' things - which seems to never end!Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

I read an article in the paper a couple of weeks ago about this cream - it doesn't contain any petrochemicals, just thought those with poorly skin might find it useful.Proud to be dealing with my debts

my tommee tippee manual pump melted in the microwave
It still works, but now I'm worried it'll melt more next steralising session.
I've googled and it seems I'm not the only one. Not sure what I did wrong, so might contact tommee tippee about it.
Now debating on whether to get an electric medala, or try the manual medala. I'm yet again close to giving up breastfeeding because DD's latch has been terrible. I've been expressing and bottle feeding her the right breast for the last 24 hours because it's so sore. Not sure whether to express, or just go on to formula or to just try and get through this painful period again. I'm just getting so fed up of the ups and downs of breastfeeding and when it hurts it's so miserable. I've been BF 8 weeks tomorrow.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
argh - found another con for bottle feeding. She was crying for food a minute ago and by the time I got her bottle warmed up she's fallen asleep and I can't wake her! Does this mean my breastmilk goes to waste now?Baby Giz born 6/2/110

Giz I have the medela swing which works for me (electric) as do express at least once a day can't be fussed with manual. Re warming up milk I think it will be ok for next feed as can be kept for 6 hours at room temp (as long as lo hasn't drunk it then is 2 hours) - but I'm willing to be corrected.Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

I need to go out so put her coat on - she woke up! But only had an ounce before sleeping again will have to throw the rest then
Maybe in future I should heat up a couple of ounces at a time. She is due a feed...don't know whether to just go out now. she'll probably fall asleep in the car so i should be ok.

SirM I just registered the boys the first time I went for a check myself, they don't do anything other than mark down which teeth they have(that they can see) Chris started sitting in the chair at around 3yo and they use the mirror etc around then too. Which reminds me he complains when I clean a particular tooth so need to get that checked!
Giz - call TT and they should send you out a replacement part/pump their CS is very good0 -
Becles - glad the op went okay and yay for Charlotte's school place!
DENTIST - ours won't even register Finn until he's 2, so just keep in mind some NHS dentists might be like that.
Hope you're all keeping on well. Been busy and kinda stressful chez Aless the past few days, so I haven't made it onto here. But I start my 'new' working hours on Monday (8:30-4:30) which should hopefully relieve some of the pressure.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

I think I registered James and Charlotte at the dentist when they were about 2 years old but they'd been with me before that to get them used to it.
Josh was registered early as he had an accident with his teeth. He didn't actually start teething until just after his first birthday! After finally getting his front teeth, he fell forward and smacked his face off a marble fireplace and the teeth vanished. There was no blood and I couldn't find them on the floor. Took him to the dentist and he said the teeth had gone back up in the gum, so we had to wait for them to come back out again!
Struggling this morning. Face has swollen up overnight and some bruising has come out around my eyes. It's all normal though and will settle down again in time. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Aww Becles. Hope the bruising clears up soon. It's not painful is it?
I've had an annoying day. Went to Boots hoping to get the manual Medela, but they only had the electric ones. Went to M&S to get flowers and potatoes - no potatoes. I got annoyed by the lack of Mum and Baby spaces. The Tesco/M&S is huge and the car park is really big and there must have been only 10 spaces. I had to park miles away in the end so I could get the baby seat out of the car. Having a 3 door car is really awkward when parking. I always worry I'm going to come back and find cars parked too close to both sides so I won't be able to get the seat in. If I'm with someone else it's not a problem - just reverse car out, but if I'm on my own what do I do with DD?!
Got home to a delivery card for missed parcelHave done a redelivery for Thursday (it's either my flip inserts or soap nuts and both can wait a few more days). I just get annoyed with how late the post comes.
ANyway ordered pump online now, it says it will arrive Monday (hope so). Fed on my bad breast today and it's definitely healed after giving it the 24 hour break so that's good.
I need to chill out moreDon't I get worked up about stupid things?! And breathe...
