Love those parking tickets Sami Bee, wonder if I would get punched though if I gave one to someone who was parking in a p and c space as I was given the bird once when I did confront someone! Today I parked at Sainsburys and the spaces are at the end of the car park but all full, saw some lady leaving who didn't have a child, plus lots of spaces in car park - so not sure why she was there??
Not broody at all and t is 7 months, I couldn't go through it again just yet - I think if I was to have another I will wait till t is about 2, more independent - will be getting close to 35 but still got a few years so no rush I want to enjoy time with t.Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

We had our first Health Visitor visit today and she was lovely. She was here for ages and gave us loads of useful information, weighed DD and did the hearing check and all went well.
I nearly gave up the other day and now it's fine again. I can't believe the ups and downs I'm having with BF. When it hurts it's just so painful, but now it's fine again and I'm loving it.
Got my Medela pump today so will give that a go tomorrow.
Thanks MERFE for the input on gaps
DD had her 8 week immunisations today and she's been screaming tonight. She's just settled down and fallen asleep but it was just horrible listening to her scream - like being back when she was 2 weeks old. She's given me a terrible headache too. She's still sleeping through the night and I'm convinced tonight she won't now!
Tomorrow is the mum and baby group again. Hope she's less grumpy by then.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Hello all, I've been v broody for ages but I think maybe better to wait till everything's settled down a bit.
Hope all new and lovely babies are well

Morning
Nose is still swollen and drippy. The consultant did say it would be a slow recovery and she's not wrong! Still needing the painkillers but trying to manage with just paracetamol as the codeine is giving me an upset tummy
I'm still broody tooHere I go again on my own....0 -
I have been feeling broody, on an off, but was warned this is normal from about 3mths old. I would like to wait until some time next year, i like the idea of 2 yr gap, but being over 35 and taking so long to get to one i think we may start with just over a year.
Diawoowoo is really getting me down! I have not eaten for almost 48 hrs as everything just shoots out of me, so looking after William has been extremely hard! Luckily today he has another test day with the Child minder, so i get a proper rest. I am hoping i can eat some toast and everything will settle down. Not sure what i will do tomorrow if i am still ill?
Becles i would also like to know how you are going? recovering well i hope
I hope everyone is having a good time todayLeopardlady

Morning gang.
Poor Josh has his first cold at the moment. OH picked one up from somewhere and was ill over the weekend, and now Josh has it too.
I had to give him his first dose of Calpol yesterday as he was so miserable. It seemed to do the trick and he slept for 3 hours yesterday afternoon and seemed a bit brighter when he woke up.
His sleeping through the night has gone a bit up the spout the last few days thoughHoping it is to do with the cold rather than the end of being in a nice routine all together.
Been feeling a bit down yesterday and today. Think it's because most of my baby freinds all seemed to have been busy, and I'm not used to sitting around the house. I find it quite depressing. Won't be able to go out today as have to wait in for our cleaner who I need to have a serious chat with..long story but last week the girl she sent round managed to practically pull our living room radiator off the wall by trying to balance on it!
Cue water pouring through downstairs neighbours bedroom ceiling, and us having to call out an emergancy plumber costing nearly £200 to put it right
The cleaner has asked if she can pay us back for the damage by doing free cleaning for the next few weeks, which I've agreed to. To be honest I need a cleaner as the place was starting to get out of control. Not very MSE I know, but I'd rather cut back on something else and keep the cleaner!
On planning baby no 2. I have been feeling broody on and off too. My sister is 13 weeks pregnant with no 2, and I feel quite envious! However I know that it would be madness not to wait a bit, so think we'll try for the next one early next year.
I turn 38 on Sunday, so can't leave it too long! :eek:Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Morning ladies
Giz - I am not BF'ing nowI gave it a good shot, but it all got too much when DD was frustrated and upset and I was frustrated and upset. Because she lost so much weight I can never be confident that she would get enough from me, and the last thing in the world I want to do is starve my daughter
So we are primarily formula feeding and topping up with expressed breast milk when I can. Although she seems to vomit her feed up more when she's started off with EBM
MV - Yikes for the cleaner damage. As long as you can get a good few weeks cleaning out of them for no charge then that is good. I would love a cleaner but don't think DH would let meI try and fit in some cleaning whilst DD has her lunchtime nap - its working quite well at the mo!
Mother and baby groups - what groups do you go to, how did you find out about them, and what age did you start going? I get out of the house every day to walk the dog and baby, but am itching for some social interaction of another kind. It does suck when most people you know are at work and you're not!
Also, passport photos. How the heck do you get these done for babies? I need to get a passport sorted but don't know what to do about the photos. Any ideas?0 -

With James we didn't have a digital camera. I had to squat on the floor of the passport booth holding him above my head with my hands up his jumper (not allowed any one elses body parts in pic!). My Mam then gave instructions like "left a bit" until his head was in the right place and put the money in for me. Poor thing looked so shocked on the pictures :rotfl:
With Charlotte, I put a white sheet on the floor and lay her on it, then just took loads of pics until I got one that was suitable. You can crop it and reduce it on the PC to make it the right size and either print it out yourself if you have a decent printer, or take it to be printed at Boots etc.
That sounds like a nightmare with the radiator MV.
Bored here too. Feel a bit better but not got the energy to actually do anythingHere I go again on my own....0 -
Sammy - I got both boys passport pics done at max speilmann it was really quick n easy
Age gaps I like a 2-3yr gap the boys are 2yrs5mth apart and I would love to start TTC in June which if I got PG straight away would give a 2yr 9mth gap. I don't know how anyone copes with exhaustion and sickness with a demanding non talking toddler?!0 -
