    Hello peeps :hello:

Been to physio, all is well :)

My friend very generously gave me a new look gift card for my birthday (a while ago now lol) and I've just used it to buy a pair of jeans and 2 new tops :j

I'm looking at higchairs for Squeak now  can't belive she will be 6 months soon and on the old toast, weetabix, carrott sticks and wat not.

    Yay for CAFC's PMA :D

ETA the argos Hungry caterpillar glitch is great. Cot bed duvet, pillow, and Hungry Caterpillar covers for £6.99! :D:D For that price it can sit in the airing cupboard till the autumn lol.

What are everyone's feelings on baby sleeping bags?

we missed out on the hungry caterpillat set out of stock everywhere near home, near husbands work and also near my mums and sisters 200miles away from me!!!

We too have just ordered a highchair mothercare take upto 28days to deliver and want him to get used to it before weaning he is 4and half mths old.

we use a baby sleeping bag have done since 8wks old had a nice little fleece one that did him til 12wks old not sure where it was from and then he has a millie and boris mamas papas 2.5tog dreampod and a 1.5tog mothercare one at the moment and adjust blankets depending which one he is wearing.

Just looking for 6-12/6-18mth ones at the moment as he is very long the 0-6mth ones wont last much longer.
  • sorry delain meant to say we brought a eastcoast multiposition highchair currently £75 on mothercare we looked at the babydan but when we tried it in john lewis its quite compact and would have been too small at our dining table. Tripp Trapp are lovely but way out of our budget!!

L is currently having his meals on the highchair seat unit which strap onto a normal chair (awful explanation i know) but its quite small, and the tray is close to him.
Weve got a M&P highchair but the tray is too far away from him and too big atm so it wasnt really working for us... this new thing we've got is going great....

I've got one of those strap on ones (highchairs to any dirty minded ladies :p) but our dining chairs are similar to these and I thought they'd be a pig to get cemented weetabix off :rotfl: So I'm going to get a folding one.

We're avoiding dairy for his eczema so unfortunately yoghurts are out. I've got loads of fruit in at the moment tho so I might try that. He had half a banana with his brekkie so I'll perhaps try giving him the other half. We were having lunch at 1 but I brought it forward to nearer 12 but he's whingy from 11ish so I think that's when he needs to have something.

Does/did K sit at his highchair for his snack or would you put him on a blanket/towel on the floor?

Henry doesn't have his snacks in his highchair. I generally just sit him on the floor and put a bowl of raisins/ satsuma pieces in front of him and he'll happily sit and eat it.

We went to toddler group this morning and he loved having snack time at the table with all the other children.

Oh oh oh I've just seen the most beautiful highchair(s) and I'd love the pink or the blue one. They are so expensive though :(
