Oh ladybird, I had that problem last year! None of my nicest office-y clothes fit so it was a real struggle to find something inteview-worthy when coming off mat leave!! I figure at least sitting at a table hides most of your body so don't stress too much about it, lol. Fingers crossed they go well for you.

Full of energy and happy for it to be Friday this morning but now I feel so sleeeeeeeeeeeeeepy! Dunno where that came from. So much housework to do tomorrow, bleugh. Ack, need to put baby laundry away now before going back to work...

Interview day here today... None of my suit trousers fit me (really need to stop eating so much crap :( ), so off to tesco quickly before playgroup this morning. It is hard to concentrate in an interview in trousers that are cutting you in two. And clothes that actually fit are probably a bit smarter too ;)

Best of luck with finding trousers and good luck for the interview xx

Got all my jobs done and just having some lunch before I take the dogs out. Have gone all continental with a plate of focaccia, olives and feta.
Here I go again on my own....

I think it's less tiring and easier going to work than staying home and juggling bairns, dogs and housework :o

Poorly William here with throat infection and both ears got infection as well plus a molar coming through, antibiotics here we come. Lovely dr at the walkin centre which makes up for the no appts at my drs and the walkin one this morning who 'doesn't see under 2's:eek:

*Get well soon* vibes for William.

MV - he is adorable, such a cutie.

Pigpen - Lovely pic, she is also a cutie. Congratulations on number 10.

Ladybirdintheuk - how did the interview go?
  • Hi All, thanks for the good luck :) It went really well - it was a nice interview rather than a poker-faced interview if you see what I mean, so I was getting the feeling I was telling them what they wanted to hear. It just depends who else they interview now really - that is always the dangerous bit! Fingers crossed!

Didn't manage to find any black trousers in my size, so had to get new trousers and jacket, but at least I looked smart :) The last few interviews I've been to I've either been squished into too tight trousers, or wearing massive ones with an inadequate belt that makes them hang funny, but these ones are just about right. A little bit too long for my short legs, but I had heels on, so not too bad!

My back is really sore today - Izzy is getting too big to carry around, I need to be more strict with her (and make my parents/DH be as well, which is the hard part!), as she is a real lazy bones. She is a little bit under the weather today so very clingy today, which doesn't help though. I [strike]think[/strike] hope it is just a combination of impending teeth and baked beans for tea yesterday rather than anything catching, but we shall see. I need to put my back to bed and see if it wakes up any less sore I think.

I have worried myself about it for weeks but strangely enough it went well! Definitely less tiring than looking after a baby! Hardest task was getting baby ready, refused milk, didn't want to get up, etc! I find the journey tiring I have to travel 60 miles dropping T off and then going to work. I missed T lots but I kinda felt like more than just his mummy for a change if that makes sense?!

    You'll be fine *hugs* Elaine
