  • When I had my 4D scan with Katie the radiographer told me that girls tend to hide their bits and pieces whereas boys let it all hang out, I've got a fab picture of Katie with her knees together and ankles crossed. So maybe that what was meant, baby was being demure.

Just to break that theory, James was all curled up like that so they couldn't tell the sex on the scan. I thought he might be a girl because of that, so I was surprised when I got a boy!

Had a lovely afternoon with James. He wanted to make some fairy cakes and we decorated them with hearts for valentines day. He was really happy when he was doing them which was nice to see.

  • That sounds like a fab afternoon Beccles. We've been swimming and been to the in-laws. Dropped DH at work for 4, and then we've been watching cbeebies, playing and being reasonably productive. Izzy was in a "helping Mummy" mood, so I managed to get a few bits done while she joined in. This place is still a mess, but at least we now have plates to eat from, clean clothes to wear and a clean bathroom :) (and a slightly tidier living room too!).

Now I need to crack on with finding bits of paperwork in the files. We are seeing about moving our mortgage, and they need 100001 bits of paper, and i'm not sure we have them all. DH is rubbish at giving me his payslips (him having his own filing system isn't playing to his strengths, so I ask him to just give them to me as soon as he gets them). I forsee some fruitless requests for copies in our near future!

Morning! For those not on FB, we're in a real quandry this morning! Finn may or may not have chickenpox. We honestly cannot tell if it's that or a reaction to the MMR jab he had 3.5 wks ago. He's got some spots, not a huge number, but they aren't itchy nor does he have a fever. I don't think they look fluid-filled really either like I keep reading about for pox. Anyway, we have to know one way or the other because otherwise we can't take him to the CM, so he's going to the Dr this morning where we darn well better get a diagnosis! :p

    Morning

Hope Finn is ok Aless. None of mine were really sick with the chicken pox. I can't recall them having a fever and they were still as energetic as normal, just covered in spots!

James has gone off with his cakes to sell at school this morning. He's a right little Alan Sugar! He buys sweets and lollies on special offer in the shop by the bus stop on a morning, and sells them on at profit to classmates. Last week he was investigating buying packets of biscuits and selling individual custard creams and stuff.

It's a bit naughty as he'll get told off if he's caught, but I can't knock his entrepreneurism :D

Hope everyone has a lovely day xx

The sun is shining here, which makes a lovely change from yesterday when it chucked it down all day long.

squeak's been a little bit grumpy but I suspect more teeth are coming. She has the 2 bottom ones through and I think the 2 front top ones are coming.

I've got so much to do and don't want to do any of it :( already had to chuck the cat out for getting in the rubbish grr.

Still looking for houses closer to town, not having much luck. Looks like the girls may end up having to move schools after all.

Hope everyone who is poorly feels better.

have had a lovely day. lie in this morning (thanks K) then toddler group later. where K made a valentines card and decorated a gingerbread man. he had great fun. then home where he had a nice long nap. although he hasnt eaten any of his tea. he has a cold so i'm wondering is his taste a bit off?? he usually eats his tea no prob these days. he is eating 100's and 1000's from his gingerbread man so seems ok. he might just not be in the mood i suppose...

back to work tomorrow and i dont feel like i have had a day off. planning a big de-clutter wed and thurs so had a easy day as such today. dunno what to have for tea yet
