Lovely to have you with us BargainPrincess
That sounds really positive honeypop. Hope things continue to go well for you. You know where we are if you need anything.
Mel - you can't have bairns and a show home. It's impossible.
You tidy the bathroom and someone goes into use the loo and there's paper on the floor, the towel precariously dangling from the towel ring and the mat screwed up in the corner.
You tidy the kitchen and two minutes later someone comes in and slops juice on the bench and drops biscuit crumbs on the floor.
Five minutes after hoovering the sitting room and getting it all tidy, they decide to build a massive Brio train set in there.
And so on!Here I go again on my own....0 -

Just imagining this is making me all twitchy! I want to pick up the imaginary loo paper and straighten the towel and mat.0 -
I've trained people in this house to keep the bathroom how I like it. It makes the other rooms tolerable having one room tidy even if it is the smallest one.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Evening gang.
Well I've had an eventful few days. I broke out in a hideous, itchy rash 2 days ago..it was hellish, so bad in fact that Thursday morning at around 4am I woke OH and said he may have to take me down to A&E.
Turns out I have had an allergic reaction to penicillin. I was prescribed it a couple of weeks ago for an infection following Josh's birth. I've had it a million times before, including twice during pregnancy, but for some reason all of a sudden I'v become allergic.
So I look dreadful..I have rash on my face, body, scalp, boobs (which makes breastfeeding even worse!). The Dr has told me to take Piriton, even though it's not really recommended whilst BF'ing, but the Dr said its the only thing that will help me, and the worst effect on the baby would be drowsiness.
Then today I woke up with a streaming cold..sore throat, dripping nose one minute, blocked the next, aches, pains etc, so really at a low ebb.
Haven't been able to get out much, so haven't been able to get over my fear of going out on my ow with Josh yet, which is frustrating.
On the plus side though, I have booked to go on a baby massage course with the other 6 girls from my NCT group, which is meant to be good for baby's digestion, wind, colic etc, so that will be good.
So glad it's Friday and got OH home for the next few days. Bless him he's said he will sleep with Josh tonight so I can have a WHOLE night of unbroken sleep! I am going to express some milk, and he is going to take care of him. I can't express how excited I am at the prospect!! It's mental..if someone had told me 10 years ago that on a Friday night I'd be so excited about just going to bed early, I'd have laughed at them! :rotfl:
I do need a good nights sleep though as I think part of the reason I'm struggling to shake this rash and now I have a cold is I am run down. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be a bit more on form.
Another positive is (apart from the horrible rash) I'm finding BF'ing a bit easier now, and Josh seems to be latching on better, so I'm pleased with that.
Sorry to go on..I'm going to have a read back now and see how everyone else is doing.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
I left Miss M for an hour to see how she was without me, and when I went back to collect her she was sitting on the couch by herself looking so sad it almost broke my heart. But she couldn't climb onto the couch (she'd been trying while I was still there but it was too high) so she'd obviously been put there and left while they were paying attention to the other kids and I had no way of knowing how long she'd been there but I'd been at the door for a couple of minutes waiting for them to unlock the door and didn't see her among the other kids so it had obviously been a while
So the collective-organiser is going to call me next week and I'll tell her it's not for us. And if she asks I'll tell her why.
Awww thats not nicethat made me sad

Awww ss that is really sad, I went looking at looking for nurseries the other day one seemed nice but I suppose you have to know what happens when your back is turned.
MV hope your rash gets better, but glad bfing is getting easier I find the longer you persevere with it the easier it gets, no faffing about with bottles etc and ready made milk where ever you go. That is nice of your DH mine did that a few weeks in and I was so pleased I got a full 8 hours sleep makes a huge difference. Hope you can get out more, me and t are rarely in the house as have groups to go to.Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces
