I know how you feel I take evening primrose oil 3 x Big capsule and 2 Cod liver oil and now I am on Vit B6 50mg to kill the PMS monster and it works when I remember.

How much is 3 capsules in mgs? I take 1000mg in one a day form, this being recommended by my Dr. I think one a day capsules work out cheaper than 3 a day. I also take a capsule for my stomach but don''t think its oil based. I still wouldn't count the syns even if it was :rotfl:.

I was doing so well til someone opened a bag of minstrels :o

    B - weetabix milk [a] coffee
    L - pasta bake [1/2 a], bbq sauce [1]
    T - pasta bake [1/2 a]. bbq sauce [1] still loads left :o
Snacks - pineapple, melon, pear, onken, meringue [2.5], minstrels [10.5] not sure I had that much but better to err on side of caution.
    Syns - 15
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    Hi sweeties,

Just checking in with my eats - really helps me this does :)

    B: 2 Alpen lights & banana
L: Mug shot, HM savoury rice & salad
T: HM savoury rice, pork chop and garlic mushrooms (1 syn for oil) with quark stirred in (yum yum)

    Inbetweenies: 2 satsumas

Tonight I realised that I've not had many (if any) syns the last couple of days so I've had:

    a glass of wine (6)
3 Jacobs Savours crackers with a small spread of Dairy Lea cheese (4.5 syns and HEA)

    Total syns 11.5

Lol - are you causing mayhem?

Day 2 for me - i had the worst tea in the world yesterday - mashed swede - who invented that!?!? vile..i still ate it but i had to mix it up really well with my mince so i couldn't taste it. Only had a small portion though.

I'm not keen on mashed swede myself (also it takes ages to cook, like carrots) - have you tried butternut squash as an alternative? You don't even need to remove the peel really, it softens up. Mix in some butterbud granules and some black pepper, luvverly.

weird question, not SW related sorry but thought one of you might be able to help... i am using dried mushrooms to make my mushroom risotto - they are soaking now.
Can I use the water they are soaking in towards the risotto liquid?
Lots of websites say you have to strain it, but what do I use to strain it?!?!? sorry for going off-topic but I am worrying!

I always use the liquid in which I've soaked dried mushrooms and it's never occurred tome to strain it! I DO, however, chop them smaller once they are softened. Coming across a long slimy piece of something black in my lunch the following day, when I can't quite remember what I prepared the night before, can be quite startling.

Me too. Cherries are free and fab!

Well, my Slimming World non-Roulade went down well. As did the trifle I was forced to make to use up the "failed" first attempt at the cake. There were some lovely savoury dishes, 2 lots of meatloaf, some meatballs, savoury wedges, scotch eggs, ooooh yum yum yum. I put a pound on last week but that is Absolutely Fine as I am At Target. I love using caps for Important Words :rotfl:

Dizzy and Takeiteazy - Get well soon xx
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

This might be a bit late, but I just use the liquid unstrained ;)

Forgive me slimmers for i have syned!

First really bad day today, was at a conference all day where lunch was provided and had sandwiches and chip things. This evening has been the worst as i have eaten 4 pieces of ham and pineapple pizza. and a few wedges.

So tomorrow i shall have to stay focused and try to be organised!

After the above i tried to be organised and decided what to have on our meal out on sat night. When we got there it was too busy and had to go to the pub down the road and the meal was terrible the steak was dripping in greese/oil yuck!

As a result i think i can put this weeks gain of 1lb to the above issues :(

Never mind I shall carry on and hope this week is a better one.
