Aw thanks hun - as I plan to do SW right through the 8 months left. Bean will definately be a SW baby! :rotfl: Fingers crossed he never has a weight problem with such good nutrition to start! (Not sure why I call him he...better than it I suppose!)

  • Thank you Catt, I realise now I didn't put in it was a dairy product/yogurt, when I do that, it comes up free :)

Its funny, I always referred to my bump as 'he' right from the start & it turned out to be a boy ( long before the days when you could have scans to tell you what you were having) I was sooo convinced I bought everything in boy colours too.....Id have been a bit in trouble if I'd got it wrong I guess huh :rotfl:

I love it! Your posts were brilliant!:T

Why do we all get obsessed with our own plan? I am always defending SW and trying to get my friends and family to join! :o:rotfl:

Oh congrats SK, I did see the original post but was too wrapped up in my own misery sorry :o

Just think of all the sw aunties [& uncle wootball :D] baby SK will have :rotfl:

Dizzy don't worry about the toast/jam, I have eaten that and more the last week or so and still had a loss [which I can't afford] this WI. Hope you feel better soon.

I had planned to go back to work this morning, got up at 6.30 all ready to go. Started to cough and that was it. Hubby wrapped me up in my blankie on sofa and I have slept for hours, finally surfaced about 2.15pm and that was after having a good nights sleep. Hubby said I was wheezing like an old boiler the whole time and must admit theres still a wheeze when I breathe deeply. I don't normally wheeze when I get a cough so this must be a bad one. Better have something to eat as haven't had anything since breakfast [can't eat n sleep at the same time :rotfl:]. Don't think I'll be back at work anytime soon :(.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Had a lovely syn free (on EE at least), easy and delicious lunch which I wanted to share.

Peppered Salmon Fillets from Iceland. There's two in a pack at 150g each for £3. Normally I find salmon a bit tasteless unless I marinate it. These are lovely, thick smoked salmon fillets. Just a quick ping in the microwave and I did mine with loads of stir-fried veg.

What got to me about the WW thread comment was that she was slagging off (am I allowed to say that?:o) SW from a position of extreme ignorance.
  • To quote consultant 31..."if you follow a plan, any plan 100%,you will lose weight".but that's just the (pro) point.we don't?we tweak, improvise, blatantly say balls to it!i Have tried detoxes,ww,sw,gi,cal counting, shakes, cabbage soup...what i have only just started doing is sticking to them!we all know HOW to lose weight..,it's the lifetime commitment to it that's the problem!
    :T:jHalf a stone off,only another 2 to go!:j:T
    :p:D;)Cats are truly evil,like women....;):D:p
    Was 11 st 5,now 10 st 7,would like to be....9 stone
  • oooh lil_me, I had a poke around on that thread and had a hard job keeping my own gob shut! Wouldn't have done if you hadn't said it all already! ;)

I have been off plan today too :o The temptation of being able to visit a shop (and a tattoo parlour!) made me go a bit giddy and buy a sandwich, an individual cheesecake and a packet of crisps :o

Not having a very good week, but I'm back to class next wednesday which will help get my head into gear a bit more. And the little thing called exams will be over, and I'll have even got a boozy lunch, cinema trip, and big P** up to celebrate the end of it out of the way by then, too! :D

Still, I don't want to put on loads in the next week, so my plan of attack is this:

    Tonight: sausages and mash
Tomorrow: Dyno soup - all day! Only my asda delivery is coming tonight, and I might be tempted by some of the low fat supernoodles or other bits and bobs which will arrive with it, TOMORROW WILL BE ON PLAN!
Thursday: weetabix for brekkie (I hope the chocolate one is good, thats what I've ordered!), exam, lunch out somewhere and cinema and drinkies in evening. Will budget 30 syns and count them.
Friday - day on plan then drinkies in evening (this is only provisional - don't know how I'd get there or back!) - up to 15 syns on drinkies is plenty - I'd fall over before I had that many gin & tonics ;)
    Saturday - back 100%

Actually its not too bad when you look at it like that.
