    Lol - are you causing mayhem?

    Day 2 for me - i had the worst tea in the world yesterday - mashed swede - who invented that!?!?:eek: vile..i still ate it but i had to mix it up really well with my mince so i couldn't taste it. Only had a small portion though.

    I hope i'm going to enjoy todays food more - Extra easy today.

    B - baked apple,yogurt HEB
    L - pineapple, grapefruit, spaghetti hoops
    T - gammon steak, pineapple, sweet potato, Butternut squash in chilli and garlic
    S - crisps (4.5)fudge cake bar :o(6.5 guesstimate) satsumas, fromage frais/jelly pudding, milk in tea HEA

    its someone birthday at work, so i'm testing myself to see if i can just have one cake and work it into my syns instead of feeling like i have to have lots. they're behind me so at least they're out of sight, out of mind.

    Well done losers and good luck weighing iners...

    I just can't get back into the plan since Christmas and it's really getting me down, I know there's only me can do it but I just can't stop eating. Thing is I'm not really enjoying the food cos I feel so guilty all the time but it makes no difference - sometimes I really feel full but still can't stop!!!!

    I really need any help I can get.
    I have felt like this throughout Jan - been sticking to SW about 40% effort and then just having bad stuff and ignoring the plan cos i want choc, cake, etc. then feeling rubbish.
    I lost 5lb in the first 2 weeks of Jan and put 3 back on in the last 2 weeks!

    But hey, pinch punch first of the month! Jan is over, the Jan blues are gone, Xmas was AGES ago so let's get back on the wagon together!

    I think we both know that we can lose a lot by summer if we stick to it!
    Personally, I am going to revamp my meal plans for a start - getting a bit bored means i often go 'oh screw it' and have toast :o

    I hope you get some positive vibes and get back on the wagon this month :)

    Saw summat a while back about oily supplements like evening primrose being syns.

    Haha no way am I synning my evening primrose oil - I only take a small capsule a day (well, on the days i remember!) and without it I become a mega PMS monster!! If I stopped taking them OH would prob leave me!! :eek:

    Feeling a bit rough today so having a green day - need comfort food! Have made OH take all the biscuits to work though so I can't graze on them all day!

    Question -- is Chicken stock free on a green day??
    (it's meat, i suppose, but not really!!)
    I'm making a mushroom risotto for dinner and not keen on veg stock in it, chicken stock is much nicer.

    Brekkie:
    Pot of tea with 1/2 HEA1 milk
    Spag hoops on toast (HEB1) with 1.5 tsp Flora light (1.5 syns)

    Lunch:
    Pasta n Sauce (tom flavour, wholewheat) with 1/2 HEA1 milk , 1/2 HEA2 cheddar and a blob of quark for creaminess*

    Snack:
    banana sliced on toast (HEB2) with a tsp honey (1.0)

    Dinner:
    Mushroom risotto with chicken(?) stock, mixed musrooms, onion, garlic, herbs and 1/2 HEA2 milk and a blob of quark for creaminess*

    Dessert: Orange Options (2.0)

    syns = 4.5

    HEA1 = milk
    HEA2 = milk and cheese
    HEB1 and 2 = bread

    Oh another question -- *will the quark separate in the pasta/risotto or do other people do this successfully???

    Hey all,

    I'm annoyed - i only lost 1lb at WI last night - was hoping for more :mad:

    I am getting a cross trainer in next couple of days so hopefully will be able to exercise more - the exercise bike keeps giving me a sore bum :rotfl:

    Going out on Sunday for lunch with ex SW member - hopefully will be able to choose wisely - will anyone look at the menu and give me some ideas on what to have please? I am going to the Raven in Ipswich, Suffolk (menu on their website) (Please bear in mind i cannot eat salad - its a medical reason ;) - as soon as it touches my mouth i heave :rotfl: )

    Starting to feel really fed up - i want to loose 3 stone for my birthday & so far in 3 weeks i have lost 1lb! :eek: I need to loose 2.05lbs for the next 20 weeks to reach the target! (and the money!:D)

    Any ideas on what i can do - without costing too much (getting extremely close to my budget! even with 18 days to go! :eek:)

    On the brighter side, the Uni assignments i was stressing about the other week and thought i had failed - I PASSED :j:j:j (not with flying colours but enough to pass!) and to rub it in, my mate who spent a long time doing them (unlike me) - got less than me on one of them (by quite alot!) :eek: How does that work?

    And my brother lost 3lbs last night :T Total of 12.5lbs in 3 weeks :T

    Why do men loose quicker than women??? :mad:

    (i am really proud of him & do tell him - just jealous!)

    ooh I have just read that thread you're on and I am dying to chime in!! hehe!

    Interesting to read the WW limits sweet potato, sweetcorn and peas - I know that are starchy veg but I said the same to my friend who's on a diet where you limit carrots, this is not the food that made you fat!!

    I am planning a pub visit tomoro night for a few, so keeping my syns to a minimum so I can have a few vodka's woohoo.

    Just want to say, I have had the time now to read most of this thread, and you have all been such an inspiration to me, your weight losses are incredible, and I do hope I follow in your footsteps :-)

    Enjoy, but don't forget diet tonic. Vodka and tonic is half the syns of a decent glass of wine ( now why do I know alcohol syns off by heart?:o).

    The quark should be fine as long as you do it at the last minute, I've used it in carbonara and it was very smooth and silky. As for the chicken stock fill your boots its free on all plans all types, assuming homemade is minus the fat!
