  • Hi All

I'm not sure I have taken part in this thread before I can't remember, been forever since I have posted anyway so I'll just introduce myself again as things have somewhat changed.
Loans: Zero CC: Zero OD: Potential for £300 but Zero :-) and No Mortgage, so for the first time ever I can actual save, I can't quite believe I am on this part of the forum, but any.

My Target is £30000 - just a random figure plucked out of the air so for now I shall concentrate on getting to 10k by the end of next year, thats just over £700 a month, which is abit steep but we shall see, I have budgeted in about £500 a month depending on what comes up and see what I can cup back on..... Gym memberships when they expire and the like

So wish me luck as I have Zero so far, will keep you posted.

Not saving for anything inparticular - pension/old ages/holiday of a life time/ redundancy that sort of thing......

    Ciao

    Red

Good luck red, Keep us posted!

There will usually be one somewhere. I'm part of the Sealed Pot Challenge, and the thread is here.

If you're interested in joining specific ones, let us know which ones and I'm sure someone will be able to direct you to the relevant threads!

Congrats on getting the debt cleared!

Re Xmas, I'm getting there. Just got one person left to buy for really - just as well seeing as I've given my card a bit of a bashing lately. Good job I had a bit set aside for things though!

  • I have around £30,500 saved (it would be around 35000 but i stupidly wasted a lot of money gambling over the past few months).

I don't really have a target, except to save about 5,100 (not in ISA) by May to put into Bank of Scotland ISA.

I have added the full tax allowance for my ISA for the past 5 years but this year it may be too much of a struggle to save the full amount, curses.

In my opinion, we should also think carefully before buying some items in some placelike mall, supermarket..etc. And make a exl to record them.
Save money should pay attention on small things in life. :p
This is a website of cheap items like cheap shoes, less than 100USD/pairs.

Dont know if they do some help to you. Hope you can make it!!
