Woooopee! £2767 saved this month. Quite far below my target due to a large purchase of some very lovely skis but totally worth it!
That's a fantastic month, Bodmil :T
I've clocked up just over £1300 myself this month. I love payday and the resulting spreadsheet tinkering. Sad, I know0 -

Hostie, are you now looking for a place? It might take you a while so you might as well go for £25k now!
I'm not 'actively' looking at the mo - just having a little look on rightmove every now and then
I prob will try to go for £25,000, but at least i've got a 15% deposit if something does come up

Well done Pixie, that's the whole point of savings. Although I do quite like the idea of just accumulating wealth for the sake of it! I dread actually having to use it. Bizarre but true!
I know, I'm really worried I'll turn into Scrooge I love my spreadsheets so much :eek:Mortgage-Free WannabeMortgage at start [20/6/12]: £151,800/MFD Jun 2035 (age 65)Mortgage now [5/11/14]: £139,212.14/MFD Oct 2029 (age 59)Personal Library 2014:starmod: Read in 2014: 57/60 :starmod: In Progress: 2 :starmod: Books In: 94 :starmod: Books Out: 12 :starmod: TBR: 847 :starmod:0 -

Oh oh oh, just had my ISA transfer over, resulting in a bit of interest coming through.
So that just pushed me over my monthly target, bliss. Never liked that red font anyway!

wow guys you must have good incomes to save so much! I am uber impressed!!
Can anyone help me with a lloyds vantage question please? I have had the acccount for a month now and paid in the £1000 last month and this, when do I get the interest please? - Just if someone knows!
I need to really sort out my savings now, I've been spendy and had a big change in circumstances so I need to get down to business I think! I think it is a bit wierd now with the vantage as it means all my money is in my current account, how do peopl deal with this generally?0 -

You should get the interest on day 1 or 2 of the next month - I think last month it was paid overnight on day 1, showing up on day 2.
As to the "split pots" part of your question - I keep a spreadsheet with the pots totalled up on that. As long as it adds up to the total amount I've got split over my accounts then all's well0 -

I'm in a similar position, I have a 10% deposit but my income multiple looks horrendous! If you are looking on right move use firefox and an add on called property bee, it tracks all the changes to property listings. I find it useful to know whether prices have gone down or up, but there is one EA that tinkers with their listings constantly which is really annoying!!
A small spend day today, I bought lunch and got a bus home so not bad all in all.
I am so jelous of the amounts everyone is posting, I think I'm going to struggle with my target...:(Mortgage at 08/10/10: 110k:eek:
