I work in Asda so always end up spending so much in there after work most days, never do a weekly shop no more (only 2 of us anyway)
And a lot of things i get for the house my mum pays me back etc but its all the junk i buy too
thats where most my money goes. and usually spend it on the card + get cashback a lot too! so most my statements are asda, asda, asda

Think i might start to just take cash now and try to limit what i buy there. Bet when i start doing that tho, will end up not getting everything i need haha!

I dont really put money aside to save, i just have everything in one bank account and whatevers left and hard to keep check on what goes in and out - Pay, Tax credits, DLA, Ebay in and now ive got my car to pay off i need to make more effort to budget now

I've not had the most frugle day (am just about to go to the pub  with the quiz team) but I saved £600 straight out of my wages. It was going to be £500 but that would have been 8.3% and I wanted a round number.

    Happy saving everyone.

Pay day tomorrow! It's a big one too, awoohoohoo! Well done Georgie on rounding things up, it's little bits like that that really help! (Although £100 more is a pretty big little bit!)

    Hey everyone :)

Payday was Friday and after my regular payments went through I worked out that I have managed to put away £647.12 this month. Quite pleased with that. I'm not pleased about having to dip into savings for my wedding at the end of August, but then I guess at least it's not having to go on a credit card which would be waiting for us when we got back from honeymoon :)

    Hope all are well.

Well done Pixie, that's the whole point of savings. Although I do quite like the idea of just accumulating wealth for the sake of it! I dread actually having to use it. Bizarre but true!

Woooopee! £2767 saved this month. Quite far below my target due to a large purchase of some very lovely skis but totally worth it!
